Just watching Birmingham v Coventry @ St Andrews in the FA Cup, there is no fecker there.I Hate Hleb wrote:Just did some research and discovered the following. Birmingham's home attendances in the Carling Cup this year have been:
V Rochdale - 6,431
V MK Dons - 9, 450
V Brentford - 15, 166
V Villa - 27, 679
V West Ham - 27, 519
Total Attendance - 86, 245
Average Attendance 17,249
This compares to the 59,000 odd that we sold for each of the two home games played. That means that plenty of gooners who have attended those games won't have a chance of a ticket for the Final. So how is it fair that they get the same ticket allocation as us, when they averaged 40,000 less in the previous games?
Surely we should inundate the Football League with e-mails asking how it can possibly be right that Birmingham's 'Big Games Only' fans can get tickets whilst more loyal Arsenal fans miss out?

Although I am quite happy I am also angry at the fact ive just been offered a free ticket for the CC final. one of my m8s clients is giving him 2 tickets for the game and said there free bcos she got them free.
I dno who she works for or how she got them but it fucks me off the fact that she dont even like football and has no interest atall but people like her are given them when true arsenal fans like some of you and myself wudnt even get a chance at getting a ticket.
someone mentioned atleast 20k odd seats at wembly will be corporate/business
Just to add my friend sells and delivers meat to cafes/restaurants ect. so how this woman has contact to wembly or arsenal i dont know.

6,431 is a joke for a Premier League team in any competition and Rochdale probably brought a few hundred as well to make up the numbers.JMascis666 wrote:Just watching Birmingham v Coventry @ St Andrews in the FA Cup, there is no fecker there.I Hate Hleb wrote:Just did some research and discovered the following. To be fair, I understand your point, but Birmingham would no doubt have had bigger attendances for these games if they were also forced to buy tickets as part of their STs. It would be interesting to see how many would have gone to the AFC games if they had the choice of whether or not to purchase a ticket.I Hate Hleb wrote:Just did some research and discovered the following. Club level and corporate boxes don't count. They are for all home games. I would suspect 45,000 maybesafcftm wrote:fuck me, you actually just sold 60 odd thousand for a CC game against Wigan?Iceman29 wrote: Errrr......No!! The CC games are not part of the Arsenal ST![]()

Still fucking good that like, especially considering Wigan don't bring any fans for league games nevermind Carling Cup ties, so its not as if they will have contributed much to the gate. Must be a pain in the arse if you can sell that many for a QF game and then be told that you're getting only around 30,000 tickets for the final when BCFC have had small attendances throughout. I suppose you cant really give one team an advantage in allocation for a final, but it must be a hassle for people who go to a lot of games to miss outIceman29 wrote:Club level and corporate boxes don't count. ....and £5 for kids! But you'll probably find that Birmingham do the same!worthing gooner wrote:It helps that the club sell upper at £20 lower at £10 for some games
They had a crowd of 16,669 today, which is poor by anyones standards for a 4th round local derby, but when you consider that Coventry brought 6,000 it shows how fair weather the City fans are.....

I know that a few years ago when we played CSKA London that some lads had printed a load of A4 sheets with a four digit number on it reflecting an attendance from one of their recent games pre "Roman".
What about picking out the Rochdale attendance and doing the same at Wembley to remind people about the 50/50 split!!
