Board Sells - Kroenke Takes Control Of Club!!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

right i havent been around as long as some of you on here but here is my 2p's worth

No but seriously, why speculate about whats going to happen and get into world war........35 i think it is on here.

From reading all the comments and taking them all in it looks and sounds like...

Some people on here are FANS, those who casually watch a match, but do not have the club’s best interest at heart – no matter the result! Your posts are showing just as much and you moan, get abusive and defensive when forum regulars and genuine SUPPORTERS pick up on such...

Now SUPPORTERS, which i include myself in are passionate, dedicated and loyal and most importantly embody everything that the club is all about. Supporting a club not only requires genuine love, but it requires that person to also honor and respect traditions, which is something a lot of FANS on here these days do not take into consideration.

At the moment the only person who knows whats happening with our club is Mr Kronky and until he changes anything we can only take his word and wait.

Have you also swallowed the "let's debate whether I'm a fan or supporter" manual?

Can't we all just get along?

:? :?

A small point of law.
As everybody knows by now, once the 30% holding is achieved the purchaser has to make an offer for the remaining shares.
Shareholders can only be compelled to sell their shares once a shareholding reaches 90%.

Whatever happens, I don't think having Stan K with a majority holding and the 'Russian' with a substantial minority holding would make for easy governance.
Hopefully, they can reach an amicable agreement, but I suspect when two billionaires are involved huge egos might cloud their judgement.

After his recent comments I'd like to see PH-W go (preferably out of the window) but I'm very nervous about people running our club who are not dyed-in-the-wool Gooners.

I don't think spending will sort it for Wenger, I reckon he has lost his ability to do the job. So he should just fuck off.

Im hoping Kronke can see the problems at Arsenal and tell Wenger to spend, Wenger refuses then resigns and a breath of fresh air sweeps through the whole club

You know this for sure do you??

I must have missed the memo about the plans to aust the current chairman who has a deal to be there lifelong.

Twat.
Don't remember saying there was. I said its highly possible this could happen, but it wont happen straight off the bat. You're demanding all these things, I pointed out that it would be ridiculous for him to come in and rock the boat straight away.

I don't know why I've bothered replying to you really, its only what you want.

Rigsby you can have a go at the fans for believing that kroenke would come in and make sweeping changes straight away but this certainly has all the feelings of a deja vu scenario and that worries me shitless :( For the past while now the only thing that has given me any hope is the prospect of a change in manager and/or a change in ownership but right now it certainly looks like the new ownership will bring more of the same with the manager and board remaining as a status quo

I would love to know how those defenders of this board and its policy feels right now :? For a long time now they have foolishly believed that the board were in the club for the long haul, they believed the board when they proclaimed their opposition to a single shareholder having control of the club but most importantly they naively believed that the lack of spending policy had nothing to do with driving up the share prices thus increasing their potential from a sale like this  All that talk has now been exposed as the bullshit many of us have constantly said it was.
