Wenger Out Banner

Absolutely no chance. 95% of fans inside the bowl are too concerned with their nachos, doughnuts and matchday swag to take note of any flags that may be unravelled; and the other 5% likely can't read.
Seriously, the abuse MikeyB gets when he starts a rant about Wenger is shocking. Their reactions are worse than if he was talking about their mothers.
Block 2 is every bit as bad. Even a "FFS Wenger take him off" comment draws looks of disgust. Mind you it is the block that I swear is the home of the Feo Walnut fan club so that probably explains it
  I was going to relocate my ST to behind the dug out the year before last, thank God I didn't.
My old man and countless other AKBs in that Block - I really wouldn't if I was you. Its the North Korea block

Look, its time to stop worrying about what the AKB's might do or the stewards or this, that or the other.
Its time to have the courage of our convictions and let it be known how unhappy we are. Let them know we want Wenger out.
Lets worry instead about whats happening to AFC and try in our own small way to change it.
I guarantee we will feel much better and our conscience will be clear that at least we tried............

thought it was lack of numbers?

....oh then it was it has acheived its goal....

...not to forget the timing not being rite......

and now its they'll take it off us......

All together now....5 green bottles......
Bren - stop stirring shit. I said we need numbers to put it up. I didn't say it wasn't going up because the Club were going to take it down.

Are you a bit dense? Or myopic, like Wenger?
Well lets be honest im not the one who spent money on a banner which i then made any excuse possible for not showing.

The banner was made when??? And yet you still havent managedto get numbers?

Doesnt that tell you something. About others and yourself.
I like the attempted wind-up, but I'll pass this time. Thanks for trying though. :D
Tarquin  I genuinely am not on the wind up (apart from the tarquin bit). But i do find the excuses for it not being shown as feeble. I see so many on here who post their absolute hate for wenger....he's a "*word censored*" to some. Now this is not aimed just at you, its at all the banners supporters too.

I honestly thought from just the posts on here, that it would be up immediatly due to the massive amount of people behind it. But when it actually comes to unveiling it where did everyone go?

I also dont get the numbers thing, or even fear of having it taken off you. They take it off you, and you get it back at the end of the game....but its been shown. What is so complicated and hard, two people were holding it up in the photo, im presuming none of you go to the game alone. Two of you at just as the teams are coming out stand in the lower tier front row on the half way line and hold the banner up....they take it off you, you go back to where ever you sit and get it back at the end of the game. Oh and no one behind you or anywhere near you can see whats on the sign, so you wont get abuse. Simples....whats so hard.

If your really behind it, show it.

All this forward planning nonsence, you all seem to be salavating on the thought of us losing, so you can all celebrate the failures of the manager and unveil this amazing banner, the fan revolution....all on the back of the team doing bad. And to be honest this is what winds me up most.

And considering those who paid for the banner and have it, post forward planning, and not having numbers, when they couldnt get the numbers after the worst start in over 100 years, what are you expecting after once again being well in contention for a top 4 spot?

So stop making excuses and show the thing, or stop posting about it. :D

Block 1 is a joke.

I sit in Club Level, I don't literally tell Wenger to fuck off but a lot around me want him gone and when I do give him stick and tell him to go I don't get any hassle:

Let's face it guys, there will always be an "excuse" not to show it, whether it be the reaction of AKBS, or being worried about doing it on a day we might win
What next? not wanting to offend TH14?
We had our worst start to a league campaign in living memory, Wenger was under pressure and the media were lying in wait to crucify him, but the chance was spurned. :banghead:
I don't see Blackburn fans changing their minds on Kean, simply because they beat utd. They may be one of the worst supported teams in the league, but at least those who care about their club have had the courage to stand by their convictions, whilst many in the public eye have ridiculed them.
Either get the fucking thing on show at the next home game, or please mods, delete this thread as "dead in the water"

80 pages and you still can't decide when to show the banner :D

tell you what I am going to the Leeds game and would like to see it.

This gives me 3 reasons to go

1) to see Henry
2) to boo Chamakh
3) to see the famous banner

I genuinely like the people involved with the banner so this is nothing personal but Sid is spot on with this post

Just get it out for Leeds

Irrelevant of the result, fact of the matter is we all know it will be a shit performance from an under strength side.

Given that this is THE ONLY trophy we have the slightest glimmer of hope of winning, the banner should re-inforce our dismay at Wengers distain for the competition.

Talking & moaning is getting us nowhere
