Hate to say I told you so...
Errr.....yesterday was his first Premier League goal at the Emirates mate
I told you he'd be good for about 10-12 goals per season.
If you want to knock yourself out over that be my guest - he's still not good enough to be Arsenal's sole centre forward as you will see at the end of the season when the difference between our finishing position with Van Persie and Le Chapman will be apparent to even his most ardent protector like you

I've always agreed with that statement. Play Giroud with Podolski up front and just count the goals

You can only score if you play
How many starts has Dzeko had? Goals scored?
Dzeko is unreal and seriously underrated. Fuck Aguero, if City are in with a shot at the end of the season this guy's the reason. In bagging City points in games they don't deserve he's doing what van Staplecunt did for us last year but off the bench.
It's not fair to compare Giroud to him. Given where he's come from and his level of ability I think he's done pretty well so far this year, and he would have been a fucking useful player to have last year. It's not his fault that Wenger thinks he's good enough to play a role that hampers the team and in any event could only be fulfilled really by 3 or 4 players in Europe. He runs his bollocks off and is a pain in the arse for any defender, I would be happy with him in any of our squads tbh. Just not as our leading and only striker.

Mate - we've all known that for some time, but the bloke who has worked in football for 30 years refuses to bend to the obvious and carries on playing a lone striker. Giroud will just become the latest player to fail because Wenger leaves him isolated. Chamakh and Bendtner tried and failed. Only a very special player that can 'do it all' like RvP can be played up top in our system and shine. I dare say Wenger would even manage to make Dzeko look like a carthorse in that role, given that he'd more often than not have the likes of Ramsey on one side and Podolski (covering for a full back) on the other
What would we know. We've never worked a single day in football
I hope Wenger never dares to pass comment on a stage production, a film, a song or a book. After all he's never worked in the arts for a single day. Patronising fuckwit

He wouldn't be able to, he didn't see it
Against Reading, when the players just seemed to be playing with no leadership and doing their on thing, I couldn't help but notice how well chamakh and Giroud played together. Both have ability, just not as a lone striker.
Take Podolski for example. We're ruining him playing him as a midfielder.
Give Giroud the service and he will score goals , Give it to Podolski and he will too. However Podolski's tenure looks like it is in danger of going the same way as Bendtners' . Played out of position and not getting near enough to goal often enough
Thing is if our formation is stopping the striker from scoring why is Wenger not able to change that. I would put Theo up front with Giroud as I believe Theo will score goals for fun very soon. Hopefully with us but if Wenger does not play him centrally then he will leave next month.
Theo is quality and he will prove it.
Imagine a 4-4-2 with Podolski and Giroud up front, Arteta, Jack, Cazorla and Ox in the middle (maybe Theo up front too as sub?) with Rosicknote and Diaby slotting in every now and again (injuries allowing)? Not saying it would solve all our problems but it would have to be better than this playing players out of position bollocks that Mein Fuhrer currently insists on.
Edgar Davids (accepted, ex-scum ) on that sunday show with Chris "Do you love me now, Daddy?!" Kamara said a very true thing about coaching/managing; Look at the players you have and fit the system to the players, don't try and fit the players to a system.
Wenker ruined AA23 by playing him out of position. Any hope Ramsey has (which ain't much anyway let's be honest) of ever hitting form is being fucked by playing him as a winger. And now Lord Venger is trying his utmost to destroy Podolski by playing him as a midfielder - and all to prove the WengerChrist does it his way.

THIS!
I watch this team week in and week out and I see that we do (contrary to sentiment the last few weeks) have very talented guys. is walcott the next henry or giroud the next RVP? not a chance BUT these guys have everything to compete with the best teams in the league.
If RVP in the lone striker position could not carry this team, i dare to think maybe no one can. but to think with the quick flick of a pencil we can play a more balanced 4-4-2. We can get away from playing people out on the wings who are better strikers and fix this zonal defense garbage.
