Cesc getting booed again at Barcelona.
I can only dream to see him back, next to Wilshere in central midfield, with Cazorla in front of them.

It's how you vocalise your disapproval at a performance of some kind.g88ner wrote:Booed?QuartzGooner wrote:Cesc getting booed again at Barcelona.

I watched the game. He was very poor and has been for quite a while for them. Not sure he deserves booing though, he's hardly been Santos bad.

I must say bollocks to you Fabregas haters.
He was totally wasting his time at Arsenal, and like most of you and me, he lost faith in Wenger and rightly so, and as a consequence wanted out. There were seasons when he was run into the ground and he almost carried us on his own.
And some of you seriously think he regrets leaving us!!! You are seriously deluded.

Re: Cesc - Arsenal paying more than Barca
They are spoiled with untold riches at Barcelona, they really don't deserve to have a player of his calibre and heart there if they're going to boo him. Typical spoiled kids - kick up a fuss because they want what somebody else has and then when they have it decide they don't want/need it.
Regarding his time here, I felt let down that Fabregas' heart wasn't in the last half a season here. But looking at his time here as a whole, he always gave 100% and you could see he knew what the NLD and other big games meant. It was almost solely through him that we remained largely competitive from 2006-2010. Picking out other star performers in that time and I can only really think of Flamini in 2007/08 and Adebayor first half of that season - I know that almost the whole team was playing well in 2007/08 but nobody got near the levels of Fabregas. That boy carried our team for years and it would have been fucking shite to watch without him there.

i really cant believe the criticism of cesc,he moved so what,so did ronaldo but united want him back, united arent short sighted, dont let us be,id love him back with us.end of

Re: Cesc - Arsenal paying more than Barca
I can totally see Cesc returning in the summer of 2014 once Wenger has moved on, if not sooner. The unfortunate scenario would probably see it as a swap move for Jack, not in addition to him being here.

Tbh it's all academic anyway because:
1) He's not short-sighted enough to leave Barcelona because he hasn't been an integral part of their team in the first two seasons.
2) Even if he did want to leave, there are questions over whether his affinity to the club would make us his first choice bearing in mind the state we're in.
3) Even if he did want to leave and come here, the pricks on the board wouldn't fork out more than £20m to sign him (even more infuriating seeing as they let him go well undervalue regardless of circumstances).

I think that he believed he would be integral sooner, rather than later under Guardiola, but now he's gone ???

Being a Catalan had a huge impact on his desire to return. The 'love' of Arsenal supporters towards him, might just persuade him to reconsider

They probably still owe us most of the transfer fee

4. I would suggest that unless wenger is still here then he wouldn't return anyway - tbh as much as I would like him to return, and I do, there is no player in the world that I would accept if the trade off was a contract extension for wenker and I include messi in that
