LAY OF THE DAY - BET OF THE DAY

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

I've had a small e/w bet at 20's. In to 16/1 now in most places but you can still get 20's. I'm going to have another little bet on him.

Good shout Rosco.
Sea Bass will be half of those odds on the big day. Wonder if Katie gets the leg up again?
I read the write up on his seasonal bow yesterday in the hurdle race. Looked encouraging.

I've had a few pounds e/w on the following:

Mumbles head @ 100/1
Weird Al @ 50/1
The Package @ 25/1
Wyck Hill @ 33/1
Quel Esprit @ 50/1
Midnight Chase @ 66/1

Be happy to get my money back and see all the horses come home safe.
Odds of that are 150/1.

Just before the scum kicked off I got this overpowering feeling that monkeyfeatures would score first and the scum would win 2-1. Was putting a few bets on with paddypower online and threw a euro at it at 51/1. Sweet.

Funnily enough I still couldn't cheers the kúnts on... when the Toon had a couple chances late on I was hoping they'd score! Still, €52 is ok compensation...

My other overwhelming feeling (that Podolski would score first and we'd win 3-1) wasn't so accurate... :fryingpan:
