VILLA AWAY

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

i disagree. its the basics he can't get right.

playing against the worst team in the league and he sets us up like we're at old trafford :banghead:

today should have been about width and pace.

instead our engine in the middle has been in neutral and AW should have the bollocks to yank Ramsay at half time and put ox in their or coq.

its his bloody stubborness thats irritating. he's gone senile. imho.

awful result. wrong tactics. :cussing:
That's what I am saying, it's just the same tactics, game in, game out and when it is not working, he does not change anything, he just makes even more baffling decisions....he is sucking the life out of me. He is taking my passion away, I increasingly feel I don't recognise Arsenal anymore. Groundhog day every game!!! (I think I am ranting now  )

Heard loud and proud around the world. The times they are a changing. A seismic shift. The cull of Wenger was always going to begin away from home. Today is the beginning of the end. Gooners we are approaching the end game. The gormless fuckwit is living on borrowed time.

HOUND HIM OUT.
Be interesting to see how much that's picked up on by the press/media. Didn't hear the ESPN commentators mention it at the time.

Back 5 were decent enough, even Jenks who improved after a slow start.

Thought Ramsey put in a shift and I know I may be in the minority there

This team lacks an identity. They don't know what type of team they are, counter attacking, possession.
Something needs to be done quickly cause if we continue to play like that we will be lucky to finish 6th
Sir, have you worked half-a-day in football? Beacuse you are bang-on. 8)

Shitty flat performance. No where near good enough. I am seriously fucked off.

As a side issue, why the fuck does Jenkinson never try to beat a defender when he's one on one? I want the lad to do well. I really do. But he needs to grow some balls.

For me the most enjoyable moment of the match was hearing "You don't know what you're doing" blurted out loud and clear at the senile old hasbeen. Hope it's still ringing in his ears.

Now look here Gentlemen, I'll have none of this negativity.
Please forget about this game and think about the £150m contract we agreed this week....

It's strange, with 20 mins left - and us desperate for a goal - I wondered if Wenger would be bold and put Podolski up front with Giroud... of course, I knew he wouldn't, but taking BOTH strikers off when you need a goal is just ridiculous! :?

And why, when we're lacking drive and a create spark does Wilshere remain an unused sub? :? - he's on the bench, so presumably he's not injured?

Can I also ask, why when it's clear from about 5 minutes into the game that we're lacking drive, inspiration and creativity, do we have to wait for the golden 70 minute mark before anything is done about it? - that games was fucking woeful and yet we just carried on doing the same thing over and over again. It's maddening.

Tactically, the guy is brain dead.
