Barcodes match thread

So have we just lost the new Henry on a free transfer? Its funny and terribly depressing at the same time.

As exhilirating as that was and as much as I enjoyed the smile being wiped of Pardew's perma-tanned mug, wouldn't it have been nice if anytime we went a goal ahead someone put a foot on the ball for 5 mins to try and control the game.

Helter skelter football is a joke. We've conceded so many ridiculous goals and yet have the joint 3rd best GD in the league. What a bloody farce.

Marveaux and Ba's 2nd goal were a complete disgrace. We'll enjoy the ride sometimes this season but most times we'll be f'ed off and embarrassed.

I know we've just won but Walnutt's performance only made Ivan the terrible's eyes light up about just how much he can charge Manure/Chavski/Shitty/Red dippers/AN Other moneybags team to sell him in 3 days time. :banghead:

PS excellent goal all of them except Ba's freekick.

"And it's alllllll gone quiet over 'ere!"

Yes yes, I know it hasn't really

I think Newcastle deserved a point if you look at the 90 minutes 8). Perhaps even the Wenger haters might see fit to give him a night off after this one though.

Very good attacking, but I am so worried about defence.
I can see Gibbs as a good choice left midfield, but I am desperate for Baines to be signed at left back.
We should spend big cash to get him.

Re : Baines

He's 28 Quartz and the papers are talking about £15m fee, can't see Wenger sanctioning that sort of outlay as there'll be no 're-sale value'.

He would be a very good acquisition though.

Just on the way back now. Our defence is beyond terrible, Gibbs was ***** and Sagna was uncharacteristically shite.

Nice to see us going forward at pace though. Anybody surprised Podolski put in his best performance in months in a game where we decided to play at a high tempo and press the opposition hard high up the pitch?

No else concerned at Theo's plaudits to our support at the end of 90 mins?

In fairness he's usually the main man to applaud the fans at home/away but that was a bit ott today and has me worried now :?

I think Theo is off for sure, but to be fair he's usually one of the last off the pitch anyway, often with Jack or Per, and usually makes a point of applauding all four stands.
