Everton at home

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If we had a decent striker that would have been 1-0 to us.

Dreadful!

To hell with the 70m Warchest. A Kings Ransom for a full back who can cross a ball, and a clinical striker.

Poldi shook hands with everyone closeby except Giroud, I think something is up in our dressing room or maybe even he can understand how shit giroud is.

Giroud cost us 2 points today. He's just not good enough. His finishing is abysmal.

It's dross like him that cost you points. You're better off not buying players as shit as him because they stop other people playing. People who might actually score when a few yards out. If you take all his misses and the points they have cost us together, he might as well have been playing against us this season. Bearing all that in mind though, why the fucking hell does the idiot in charge keep playing him?

giroud has scored goals...but i think if you put a target dummy angled towards the goal, that would score just as many.

Fucking sick of watching us play the same fucking shit for 75 minutes at home regardless of whether or not it's working. Against the likes of Norwich and to a lesser extent tonight it's ridiculous that we set up so negatively at home. Especially when that one striker is Giroud.

Wilshere played again and was even more of a passenger than the weekend due to his injury - at least Wenger has learned his lesson from rushing him back though. The quality wasn't there for Ramsey (is it ever?) but without his hard work and willingness to press the ball we'd have gotten completely overrun in the middle first hour or so. Podolski may not always grab a goal or an assist but before he even gets the ball he's decided that he's going to run at his man - and it fucking terrifies full-backs. No coincidence that our improvement yet again coincides with his introduction, hope he can do the same off the bench at Fulham seeing as he obviously won't start again. Cazorla is wasted out wide and by the time he moved infield he was so tired that he wasn't moving or chasing. Why give Rosicky a new deal when in the games that we're crying out for a player like him (tonight, Southampton away) he's left on the bench?

All in all a point isn't a terrible result and I'm really surprised Moyes chose to settle for it given the table and the way the game had gone, although they unsurprisingly flagged. But we will probably labour to a defeat at Fulham again (as we often do) and yet again we'll have blown our chance to rise above this fucking mess for Cl qualification.

OUT with 4-5-1
OUT with Giroud
OUT with Wenger

You could be right there, when he went down the left and tried to cross the ball in, he said something to La Plank and gave him an evil stare!

A draw was probably a fair result given how bad both teams wee but who does dropping points hurt more ? I know Everton needed to win if they had any chance of top 4 but can we afford to drop points either ? :rubchin:
