Puma to make our kits

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Yahoo are running a story showing Linford Christie, Sagna, Giraud and TH14 sporting Puma/Arsenal merchandise, including, what looks like to new home shirt.
Christie (an ambassador for Puma) has deleted his tweet, but the info is there for all too see.

the Giroud winter training top looks like something modelled on Arsene's favourite jacket :D Horrible. The Fly Emirates logo is huge.
the replica kits made by Puma tend to be tight. Too tight to be exactly flattering to most of us. Hope they are doing several XXL sizes

The shirt doesn't look too bad considering most puma shirts are awful. Not sure about the tightness of it though :?

I love the skinny fit puma kits, also I love the simplicity of the designs, they tend to lean towards retro without being a cheesy retro take ,that pic in the last page if that's the home shirt is awesome Imho, less is more, and puma get it right time after time :barscarf:

Could be to do with the fact that he is contracted to Adidas :rubchin:
obviously he could still be pictured wearing an Arsenal kit but, as he is in every newspaper now!
Yes but it was a Puma event with the athletes they endorse. I doubt Linford Christie will have been involved in the photoshoots for the new kit or Usain Bolt for that mattter

Most player-issue shirts tend to be a tight-fit (or athletic at least), but the replicas that go on sale are more of a 'classic fit'

Home shirt? Homosexual shirt maybe, fuck me they wouldn't be able to breathe in something that tight!

Imagine if you bothered to scour through current marketing material in catalogue, website etc you'd find Giroud in exactly the same pose, probably just a well-photoshopped mock-up.

I could believe that the training top was real, but that home shirt is missing white sleeves (which I don't see being abolished), and the white and baby poo top better not be our away kit.

Was there any trouble with Nike I wonder- it's been years our association with Nike, it seems strange to go to a generally lesser sporting brand like puma...at least it's not under armour... :barscarf: :blah: 8) :box:
