As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

expect more bizarre decisions as the season goes on. fuck knows what he will come up with when Walcott returns.
Replacement right back for Debouchy. Like a new signing...

With all due respect, for years we've all wanted more options and competition for places.

Absolutely true. But the problem is Arsene has gotten it wrong. We now have too many central midfielders. He didn't strengthen where we needed it most; central defence and strikers.

Exactly - a shit load of options for some positions and no fcuking options at all for other positions
I would have liked him to get a proper winger. Not the pseudo one trick pony to**ers like Lennon and Townsend but like a younger Ryan - I am my brother's wife's Keeper-Giggs.
Been a while since we had one of those.

And not only that, but primarily a collection of number 10's and all about the same height and weight.

Walcott Ozil Sanchez
Welbeck
Only difference will be Walcott instead of Chamberlain - I myself prefer Sanchez on the left, anyway.

Cannot believe that there is anyone out there that believes that Wally is better than the ox

Wally is a far better finisher though isnt he, though Ox is getting there.

Except that he clearly is...?
As his absence will attest; it's no coincidence that we've looked so toothless and bereft of dynamism since he went down - he's arguably our most important attacking player as he improves the functioning of the entire side with his pace and ability to stretch the defence.
Chamberlain has absolutely no end product yet, Walcott is arguably our best finisher and gets assists - he also turns up in the big games (unlike the rest of our players).

Now I know you're a wum. And I speak as someone whose password for his pc was Theo.

We have dynamic players but no longer play dynamic football and the only time we look dynamic is when ox is playing
I'm not a 1989 knee jerking reactionary but ox scored against the scum on Saturday and his pass for wellbeck's 3rd tonight was absolutely top quality so don't know how you can argue that he has no end product The ox has far more to his game than the one trick pony that is Wally who is snuffed out of a game every time we play against a team whose defence sits deep
Finally if you really think that Wally is a better finisher than Sanchez then I think that you should have a lie down buddy - sanchez's consistency in his finishing and variation in the type of goals he scores, puts him way ahead of every other player in our club and that includes Wally

I'm a WUM because I prefer Walcott over a still young Chamberlain who lacks end product?
Chamberlain has never managed more than 2 league goals in a season...
He clearly has the potential, but presently, Theo is lethal at making runs and finishing from the wing where as Chamberlain struggles to make impacts on games - he still is yet to find a true identity on the pitch.
I'm also unsure as to what the significance of your PC password being "Theo" is?
