Citeh at home match thread.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Absolutely shocking from Flamini, lazy prick.
flam didn't track back, but Per just let aguero stroll past him.

ozil and sanchez look inspired. jack is having a go too.

Not sure I agree, Per picked up the guy behind Aguero and Flamini just let him stroll past. If Flamini wasnt meant to be picking up Aguero in that situation, what was he supposed to be doing?

TV replays show Per just let aguero walk past him and tap it in.

the CB's are supposed to cut those out.

So, what's changed then? Fuck all. Always the wrong pass, always a wasted free kick or corner and always shit defending.

Positives: what a untypical hurricane start for us, first 15 mins absolutely great football. We weren't asleep as so many times before. Then... well... normal Arsenal I guess.

Again the big picture. PL is the best and hardest league in the whole world. If you want to play like Arsenal, tippy tappy you'd need the absolute world class players to do that. You just can't walk the ball in like in Spain FFS.

Sanchez and Wilshire looking good going forward. Welback has had a half decent debut. If Wenger had gone out and got a decent CB, we would win this bloody thing

The back 5 are giving me heart failure every time Citeh attack, and Flamini is giving them no cover. Thank god we signed a new DM and strengthened the squad in defence! That's what you get with 30+ years in football.

yup, ozil, sanchez, welbeck and wilshire all looked really lively.

welbeck was very unlucky. against lesser sides we'd be 3-0 up now.

had Welbecks chance gone in we'd be strolling now,but goals change games and city can count themselves lucky to be going in a goal up.a great start from us now COYG :barscarf:

Been stuck in the car with no radio so only got Bbc text commentary. Sounded like unusual bright start, missed chances then concede against the run of play. Everything changes, everything stays the same.

Sanchez getting a right slagging from the Beeb, has he been that poor in the final 3rd? :rubchin:

And Wenger stated last week when asked why hadn't he signed a DM that he had good enough players in Flamini and Arteta!

Put in a few poor free kicks but one of our best players except for that.
