Anti-Wenger Protest

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Good stuff - that gives him a couple of weeks to leave of his own accord or he gets pushed out with force

the 13th ? - too late. should have been the 3rd and card and banners to stoke on the 6th.

sounds like a diversion to me :rubchin:

waiting until the 13th is wasting momentum - shewore is organising for the WBA game away and the 3rd.

Tend to agree with you especially if the team loses at WBA.

What a bizarre comment ; you think the players are instructed to run to that corner when Arsenal score?

I'll think you'll find a lot of the players families sit in the boxes above that area, but never let facts get in the way of a good conspiracy, eh?

And an equally bizarre defense

I'm not saying that it is a conspiracy or anything like that, but what I am saying is that it isnt coincidental that our players run to that corner to celebrate. A lot of clubs have area's of their own ground (the victims have the kop and manure have the stretford end for example) where the players like to gain favour by celebrating goals in front of those fans, and what I am suggesting is that, whether by accident or not, redaction and that area have been championed as our "kop" Is it unreasonable to question whether the relationship redaction have with the club is having an influence on that perception ? Do you dispute that redaction have a cosy relationship with the club in comparison to what the likes of BSM have ?

Nah, this is bullshit ; you want the manager sacked so you are somehow trying to blame other fans, and in turn try to turn other supporters against them at the same time with your insane conspiracies. I can't comment on what relationship BSM have with the club, but REDaction's didn't seem too cosy when I had my ST confiscated for two games and all Club level access revoked following the 'PETIT PUTE' Nasri banner a few years ago. This was after we got off with a warning following '50 YEARS OF FAILURE' at the derby match.

Cook where am I trying to blame other fans ? :?

What I am saying is that I believe that ALL of the supporters groups (inc redaction) have a duty to perform here and I think that they are all bottling it. From where I stand, none of the groups are doing ANYTHING to address this situation and that baffles me - are these groups trying to stick their heads in the sand and hope that it all goes away ? Have they even asked their members how they feel about the managerial situation at the moment ? I feel (and this is only my opinion of course) that the very least these supporters groups should do is to publicise any protest/march - by all means they can do so with a disclaimer stating that as a group they are taking no position in this debate, but by recognising and informing their members about these protests it will spread the word and acknowledge the existence of a anti wenker movement.

On a personal level can I say that I joined BSM when they formed because I hoped that they would be a real voice for the fans - when it became clear to me that they too were afraid to go against wenker, I decided that I didn't want to renew my membership with them. My feeling on this matter was that if they were not willing to tackle the real serious and meaty situations, then what is the point of them ? I'm not for one second suggesting that my withdrawal from that group should bother them in the slightest, but how many members of the various fan groups feel that their opinions are not being represented by the groups in which they belong ? I'm also not saying that other fans should turn against the fan groups because that is a personal decision for every fan and member to make, but I do absolutely believe that if you (not you as an individual) are not part of the solution then you are part of the problem and clearly no fan group wants to be the one's to initiate change here.

I know redaction like to claim that improving the match atmosphere is their sole mantra (something I'm sure usmanov would dispute), but would you not recognise that the current malaise is hugely affecting the atmosphere nowadays ? How can redaction improve the atmosphere if they don't publicly recognise the biggest single cause for the shittier than usual atmosphere nowadays ?

Finally can I just say massive kudo's for the "petit pute" banner - it is without doubt the best banner I can remember at the grove and even time I see the little lesbo c.unt on tv, I refer to his as pute (my kids keep asking me what it means  )

Has no one thought of a 'Wenger - spécialiste en échec' banner yet?

Well me and my old man haven't got tickets yet but will be in London for the weekend. Bring it on.

Even him, a bit deluded, has had enough of Wenger. He is likely to blow a gasket.
