Re: Hull FA Cup
Shockingly bad game of two teams trying to tippy tappy each other to death. Did Hull even get into our box?
Only highlights were Sanchez who is head and shoulders better than anyone on the pitch and the fact we won

Re: Hull FA Cup
Where was the bloody chorus of There's Only One when the second went in ? Would have been the highlight of the match !
Re: Hull FA Cup
Did anyone else notice Ospinas kicking last night?
When under a bit of pressure he seemed happy to aimlessly boot the ball away from the danger zone.
That's not the Arsenal way son. When being closed down you must:-
A) try to dribble round the advancing player
or
B)play an unnecessary pass to a colleague, putting him and the team under even more pressure, resulting in mass panic.
On a couple of occasions he even tried to set up attacks with a quick pass/hoof to a team mate in space. Wtf was he thinking?!!
We're not fucking Wimbledon!! If one of the fastest players in the league (theo) is hovering on the half way line in acres of space you must pass to either a cb or fb...its the Arsenal way...tippy tappy...tippy tappy. Why use one pass when ten will do?
The professor won't be happy....instant recall for Chesney please.

trying to set up attacks with only sanchez alive to it....says it all about the complacency which is a disease at Arsenal.silus wrote:Did anyone else notice Ospinas kicking last night?

But the scary thing is, that is probably exactly what Wenger said to him after the game, word for word.

Wenger might have called him a few names too. What is French for "You have betrayed me and my beautiful game you cúnt"?

Something along these lines?

Re: Hull FA Cup
I went
Thank god I did, the cheeky chappy perma-crocked cockernee wastrel Bullard was allocated a goodly dollop of license fee payers' money to offer his views on the game. I would have ended up smashing the telly box if I'd stayed at home.
It was all a bit meh.
Considering three of our lot have been on loan to no good effect to championship clubs, we looked ok, but the second half looked like a conspiracy - we won't embarrass you by scoring if you promise not to rout us
60,000 my arse. We didn't sell out and twenty percent of your season ticket holders stayed at home.
Coquelin. It's a while since you had a mad un, running around kicking anyone in opposing colours irrespective of proximity to the ball. A sort of french Gary Brabin.
Good luck.

The 60,000 is a well established piece of New Arsenal (or Arsene FC as it's also known) mythology and lore.

Should have been offloaed a few years ago rather than being rewarded with a new contract.
Another passenger on the Arsenal gravy train. All aboard
