Chelsea home thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The snobbery of the modern Emirates crowd. We won titles playing like this 20 years ago...

Do what in 1996 do you mean when we won the double FFS???????

God, it's maddening watching us play into Chelsea's hands. Getting us to commit to little fouls, eating up the clock. It's so painfully obvious. We've got no answer for it.

Also, don't get me wrong - I absolutely adore the man, but Alexis has been awful today.

Was tempted to post "0-0" instead of this, but I thought there was a possibility of them nicking a goal.

Truth be told, this was always going to be the result.

What the fuck am I watching? Utterly pathetic from Chelsea to put in those sorts of celebrations - even if they'd lost today they're still 7 clear so let's not pretend there was anything riding in that respect. Mourinho doesn't need to obviously encourage his players to do that to win the mind games with Wenger.

In terms of the game we didn't shame ourselves by any means but again Mourinho has come to keep a clean sheet and again he's done that - 5 on the bounce against them without a goal. Acquitted ourselves a bit better than in years gone by but ultimately Wenger still has zero idea how to vary things effectively against them. We could have been playing til next Thursday and we still wouldn't have scored.

Isn't it funny that some people thought Wenger deserved credit for beating a bunch of crap teams, but again today showed how clueless he is. We could play till next week and we wouldn't score against them. We will never be properly up with the big teams until we get a manager who understands tactics and can get the best out of his big players. WENGER OUT

I couldn't care less if our games were like Rafa vs Mourinho. He never gave a shit about performances and jose hated playing against him because he never got duped into playing expansively like Van Gaal just did.

Why did Jose hate Rafa so much, because the games were always very tight and they went to the wire. That is exactly the approach we should have when we face Chelsea. If Welbeck could shoot we could have won the game 1-0 in style graham, rafa, simeone even jose would admire.

The cumbersome prick always manages to fumble his feet when in front of goal.
If AW had left Giroud on he might've scored from that position.

The reality (as in absolute FACT!) is that until Wenger is GONE - The ONLY Trophies we stand a chance of winning is The FA Cup and the League Cup - Whooooooooooooo! how exciting.............. We are THE Arsenal - and yet under this present regime - we are

the arsenal.

It hurts - Jeeeezzusss it hurts.
