I think that performance just shows the massive leaps and bounds weve made in terms of progress this season,we really laid down a marker for next season.the players executed the tactics perfectly, the fire in the belly would have had even Bayern munich running scared, ospina didnt make a mistake all game and giroud took his goals superbly, its clear to see we don't need any new signings this summer, its all gonna fall into place :barscarf: :barscarf:

The Great Train Robbers steal a draw with a wonderfully placed cross by Theo

A totally insipid effort summed up by the equalizer. I'll take it but fuck me what another horror show at OT

I'll take it. Ramsey and Wilshere were very good in the second half.

A win on Wednesday and we don't have to play the qualifiers so at least that's an improvement.

Was Van "Butthead" Gaal waiting for the Gooners to be quiet? :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

As they were v Swansea, both looked full of energy and upped the tempo which was lacking for the previous 70 mins.

Fancy playing a pacey, natural wide player out on the right making a difference

Arsene Wenker tactical genius :)

We looked better 2nd half but first we were woeful .
UTD have huge problem's at the back as was showed anytime a ball popped through the middle .
Il take the point all day long and the substitutions did change the outcome !

Improved second half and some decent subs from Wenger, for a change.

Should at least avoid CL play-off now, and we didn't lose, so I'll take it.

got to be happy with that after a dreadful first half, gave the mancs hope for the 3rd place spot and then took it right back again :barscarf:

What a rubbish game that was

I'll take the result as it's job done as far as top 3 is concerned, but we were pathetic first half. So timid and slack. So much for putting down a marker :?

Still, 3rd place done and dusted. Bring on the FA Cup final :barscarf:

Given how bad we were in the first 60 odd minutes, it's a good result in the end. All things considered, though, it's poor and disappointing. We should have beat them today regardless of whether they had Rooney/Carrick or not but without them it really should have been a win for the Arsenal.

Disappointing that he didn't start Theo. Considering the space United have between their defenders and the space in behind their defence (particularly at home) it was a shocking decision. It was also compounded by the fact he started Ramsey out right who literally dominated the game when he moved into the centre. The tactics were wrong, the team selection was wrong and he didn't take control of the game early enough. When he made the changes though, they were inventive and improved us so credit for that.

It's like Wenger doesn't understand what he has in Theo. Sure, he's frustrating as fuck sometimes and downright unsuitable for some games (those that involve packed defences and little space), but in games like today he can win us matches and he should have started.

Anyway, we (surely) have finished ahead of them and at least avoid that crappy qualifier which we inevitably always make a dodgy nail biter because we're the Arsenal.
