city away thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Fucking unbelievable!
Well they are not going to shout "Fuck off" are they when the bloke has just scored!!
But they dont have to sing his name like he is a hero either!
Stupid logic! I dont rate him at all , but funnily enough he plays for Arsenal and scored. Away fans earn the right to sing what they want in my book.
I would have thought week after he cups his ear to the crowd after one simple assist during an appalling run of form that he might have had to do a bit more to get his name sung than score one goal ... but maybe thats just me?!

Uh oh, looks like we may need to buy a back up striker for Giroud next season.

Welbeck's injury will initially be declared as nothing serious 1-2 weeks. He will next play a game in 2018.

Have you not seen the Banners - The Gooners support the "team" NOT the Regime...and they always do whilst the game is happening...

Giroud shoudn't even be on the pitch - but whilst he is - The Gooners support the Team.
But then the line is blurred. Giroud shouldnt be on the pitch but he is because the leader of the regime (who shows complete contempt for the fans) has picked him .... and so singing Girouds name after he scores sounds to me like some form of vindication at that decision.

I'm not calling for players to be abused but sing Arsenal songs instead of player songs would be my preference at the moment.

So we have Campbell and the wally on the bench but putting iwobi out there is preferable to le cock ? He makes two positional changes to cover for welbeck substitution

Can someone give our medical team the contact number of Leicester's and ask them how to do the job?

You used never see Cech tearing out of goal during his Chelsea days. It's an almost weekly occurance now. Even someone of his experience can be ruined by a complete lack of defensive training.

Absolutely with you clash - I am all for celebrating a goal, but singing a c.unts name after going 15 games without scoring is ridiculous and is basically celebrating averageness imo   Cupping his ear last week merited a swift kick in the balls rather than singing his name too
