Next Ingerland Manager

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Absolutely fucking brilliant.

The bent fat *word censored* was exposed for this sort of shit a decade ago but the dense fucking *word censored* couldn't fucking help himself, could he? Coz, you know, one needs an extra £400k when you're coining £3m p/a, doesn't one? Greedy prick, I hope this is the last we'll see of his gormless, saggy face staring blankly into the camera as he tries to conjugate a sentence.

What a moron - but unbeaten in the job!

I hate this bastard so, so much.

Not going to happen rodders, our glorious leader can't buy anybody when he operates inside the rules, what advice could he give on completing transfers by bending the rules!

I suppose that it is likely that the "southgate manager for next 4 games" is just a ploy to divert pressure in the short-term - they had to make an immediate appointment seeing as the next engerland squad is due to be announced next sunday, and southgate would be the logical choice seeing as he already works for the fa. He has said a few months ago though, that he wasn't interested in becoming full international manager yet so this solution suits everybody for now, but I still expect a full-time appointment before the 3rd game comes along

Wenger is being talked about being next. Considering the French job isn't available for at least 2 years. He hasn't signed a new contract so could do the job from June.

Stop making me hard.

Tbh he is a better option than anybody else willing to take it. He's a busted flush at club level but would bring a fresh approach to a side which has been rudderless for years with managers making populist decisions on a game-by-game basis.

Of course he might end up putting Walcott and Ox on each wing though.

How many times have we been down this road of managers getting caught doing dodgy deals or being implicated? Every couple of years another story breaks, nothing ever comes of it, names aren't printed and it's all covered up again. The papers like to make a story out of it because it sells but they know they can't lose access to clubs or they can't actually prove the allegations are totally true once the managers and clubs get the solicitors involved. The FA then whitewash everything and round and round it all goes. The press know who's involved and always have done but either won't name them or can't, Either way, it's all a fucking con-job and a fraudulent mess.

The other UK Countries would call that a "RESULT!"....

there is absolutely NO CHANCE that Wenger would take the England job.
for starters it is a massive pay cut on what he is on now, he knows better than most that the pool of England talent is probably the worst it has been for years, so knows there is no chance of success. he would have his private life examined like never before (and look how hard he has tried to keep his affair with a French rapper quiet)

he would just end up retiring with the whole country hating him rather than just a section of Arsenal fans

I think that there is no doubt that the senile old c.unt actually believes that we can win the league this season, and that more than anything else will be the reason why he will turn down any fa approach
