2 billion quid and 70 transfers to be slumming it in this shit. Every other club combined in this banter competition hasn’t spent 2 billion quid on players in their history never mind the last couple of seasons. Complete farce.

Would Arsenal have won this Final? I don’t think we would.

Shamrock Rovers got through the group stages of the Europa Conference League. That is the level of that competition.

Servette, Gent, Panathinaikos, Noah (ARM), FC Heidenheim, Astana, Shamrock Rovers, F.C. Copenhagen, Legia Warsaw, Djurgardens, Real Betis

That’s what 2 billion quid can buy ya folks.

Whether intentional or not UEFA have orchestrated a couple of gimmes to whatever premier league clubs find themselves in these dumbed down competitions.

Is it to placate them so the super league talk never comes back? Hey lads top 5 will qualify for the CL and if you miss out on that you’ve a back door safety net via the Dog and Duck competition to get yourself in.

The resources of a team that finishes 6th/7th in the premier league far outstrips their European equivalents so English teams should piss these 2 competitions every year.

Forest will go off as hot favourites in this shit fest next season as will Villa in the Europa. In fact Villa will have a much easier time qualifying for the CL via playing the dregs of Europe than they will by their league position.

All a bit of a joke really.

People forget that Chelsea were nailed on for Europa last season until United beat a half drunk City in the Cup Final. That dropped Chelsea into the Conference League. The fact they could play a totally separate squad in the early rounds against literal pub sides is a farce.

My view. Premier League should have no one in the Conference League. And nor should the top 3 coefficient Leagues. It’s a pub league for pub teams.

I wonder will there be any push back on UEFA from other leagues as they continually see their teams get completely blown out of the water.

Look at the semi finals of both competitions this season for example. Bodo Glimpt’s entire 27 man squad cost 30 odd million to assemble up against the scum who spent £65 million on Dominick Solanke alone.

The chavs played Djurgardens (who I had to Google because I’d never even fucking heard of them before - Swedish apparently) and their record singing cost £1.5 million quid!!!

Up against the chavs who have spent 2 billion quid on payers since Bohely took over a few years back. It’s a complete mis match.

UEFA modified these competitions to give the lesser lights a chance at European honours but all they’ve done is make those teams canon fodder for premier league clubs. The team that finishes 6th or 7th in Spain, Italy or Germany simply can’t live with their premier league equivalent never mind the Norwegian or Swedish pubbers.

It’s obscene that a team with the chavs spending power could be in a competition against part timers and minnows. It makes a complete mockery of the whole thing.

If a Premier League team wins this fucking school fete, they shouldn't be given a trophy or a cheque for 50 quid or whatever it is. They should be banned from Europe for a season for brining the whole game into disrepute. If a Premier League team is in it and doesn't win it, they should be made to play in the League of Wales for two years.

As I say. If the Premier League is that strong it gets a 5th Champions League Team, it should lose any access to the Conference League.

Absolutely. There should be a maximum number of teams that a member association can have in European competitions. Five in the Champions League and that includes a team that wins it but doesn't finish in the top four, two in the Europa LDV Vans League and one in the Europa Amateur 2nd XI League. If you get an extra team in any of them, you lose a place in the next competition down.
