Thing is the Mourinho is pro=active , he says things to use the media to get other managers to take their eyes off of the proverbial ball. It's like his head-to-head record v Jose that the AKB describes as a "freak". A freak would be a one-off event. This is a 13-time event and each time the result is the same: Mourinho never loses!

There's zero argument, in every single way Mourinho is a far superior manager: the trophies bear it out, his European record bears it out, the head-to-head record bears it out. On a totally different level to AW, can't even compare them.

Wenger is a "pretty good" manager IMO. Jose is world class.

I've genuinely never heard a football fan ever say they think Mourinho is jealous of Wenger. In the context of winning stuff, that comment would be utterly ludicrous considering everything Mourinho has won.

You've either completely missed the context of what they were saying or these fans you're mocking are either children or fictional.

I do however think Mourinho is irritated that Wenger seems to enjoy a lot of respect from the press despite winning nothing for a decade. Perhaps that is what these fans you mock were referring to?

I think what must annoy Jose is that a year ago, he finished 3rd, just 3 pts or so off the league champions. He was absolutely crucified for it. Wenger has been earning a crazy salary and has been praised for a decade, despite never having come anywhere near a genuine title challenge! If I was Jose, those double-standards sould piss me off too!

Ok, I'll take your word for it that many fans think Mourinho is jealous of Wenger. But before I join you in ridiculing them for their bizarre view, did they expand on what they meant, because it lacks context?

It's clear that Wenger has dined out on the invincibles season for years. Would it be a surprise that Mourinho (or Fergie) were jealous that Wenger managed to achieve a season unbeaten but they couldn't? - not really; it's human nature and they're winners.

But, even if Mourinho is jealous of the invincible season, that doesn't mean he's jealous of Wenger in all areas of management, and I find it very hard to believe any sane person would believe Mourinho would swap his league titles and CL winners medals for Wenger's set of medals.

Which bring me back to you mocking these fans. If you're laughing at them for thinking Mourinho is jealous of Wenger's unbeaten season, then I think you're wrong. A season unbeaten is a dream season; what world class manager wouldn't want that?

But, if you believe these fans are saying Mourinho is jealous of Wenger full stop, then I simply don't believe these fans exist... or if they do, they're probably kids or WUMs.
