Tbh it all started to go shit when it was held in south africa and those fucking vuvuzelas or whatever the fuck they were called! It was a shit tournament and there hasnt been a good one since!

Spot on I mean the south Africa bit all the others you mention I wasn't born or was a toddler! Fucking vuveselas.

Usa 94 first on my conscious, and was great as the novelty of USA, even with no england, France 98 brilliant, 2002 good German one good as well.

Same with euros until last few editions with utter shite small countries, Iceland FFS, used to be cream Vs cream. 2012 was the last good one and it's the paddies and sweeties fault it's now shit they lobbied for expansion as the only way they could qualify.
