Errrrm well of course we would, that's because to spend £42m on a player, never come close to winning the league with him, and then selling him at a considerable loss (who's going to pay over £30m for Ozil?) would be downright incompetent. Don't you think? :rubchin:

Is Petr Cech going to the same place for his month long medical as Higuain did?

Honest to god - all of last week on Sky Sports. Sky Sports sources understand Arsenal have agreed personal terms and a fee of £10.9m for Petr Cech.

Bore off or get the fucking deal done......any news on the CDM we're being searching for since Gilberto left ?

Medicals are very important at Arsenal..those medical staff are going to become your best friends during your stay in the treatment room ..sorry the club.

It's not the players fault Wenger paid that money for him. He was bought to bring more of an edge to the attack but as stated before if you have shite in front of you who is ten minutes behind you then that's the problem.

Can't remember the opposition but özil had the ball at the edge of the box waiting for cart horse to move which he didn't so özil took the shot on himself then looked over to cart horse and roared in frustration :banghead:

Here's a question, how do you think he would of performed if he was playing in the invincible side?

The answer is Henry would of started to have problems thinking up new celebrations

I agree and I've highlighted it before.

You don't need a creative player with visión and precisión to pass to a stationary target (i.e. Giroud). The Agüero/Tevez sort of player is forever making short, sharp runs in and around the box, creating space and giving the midfield options.

Giroud has some strengths, but anticipation and movement aren't part of his repertoire.

IW8 or TH14 would score bucket-loads with Ozil in the team.

Agree, so why buy him at a very high price if he doesn't suit our style of play or if he ( Wenker) has no intention of altering it to accommodate him and get our money's worth.

Lol. Isn't it weird how deals always take soooo long at Wenger FC?
Look how quick the Cesc and Diego Costa transfers happened last summer - once negotiations began, less than 3 days and deals were announced. Look at Depay at ManYoo, agreed fee, medical etc super-quick. Even the Mousers did Firmino double-quick. It ain't hard: offer acceptable fee, personal terms, medical, done.
Oh apparently not...

with a world class and RAPID centre forward at Arsenal with Ozil im sure we'd see the new Bergkamp/Henry ,goals left right and centre flying in :barscarf:

Not sure Ozil would be good enough to make it into that side tbh. He lacks mental strength and could you imagine how he'd react to Keown telling him to get his arse in gear? These days no one questions him apart from the fans.

The point on Giroud is correct of course - he's an immobile donkey.
That still doesn't excuse Ozil or Wenger. Sanchez has come from playing alongside Neymar and Messi, with Busquets mopping up to errrr...Welbeck and Giroud  Yet, Sanchez manages to show his quality. I totally agree that Ozil is a top talent and the system and poor quality attack blunts his game. Yet...at his price and experience, I've seen too many games where he drops his shoulders. In all those thrashings, Ozil was pathetic. He doesn't demand the ball, he hides. He doesn't take shots, and when you're unable to open up Swansea, Sunderland and Hull at home, there's zero excuse.

As for the Invincibles? Yeah but then again who wouldn't look good having Vieira covering you, Gilberto enduring you never have to track back, Bergkamp threading all the through balls and Henry basically a one-man wrecking crew?
Even Christopher Wreh and Aliadiere managed to look decent with Petit/Vieira!

Italian sources claim that Arturo Vidal to be sold to Arsenal for £21.2m so Juventus can sign Bayern's centre back Mehdi Benatia.

There's been a lot of negativity and anger from some at the prospect of not signing Schneiderlin, but hypothetically, if we signed Vidal instead, would this appease these fans?
