Mariona Caldentey has agreed to join Arsenal Women when her current contract at Barcelona expires at the end of June after a decade at the club. [Sky] #afc
Now things are getting exciting
Why aren't we employing local tea ladies ffs?
I’m sorry the Spanish tea lady didn’t cost £50m, therefore she must not be good at making a good cuppa!

Daily Mail also says that barca have to raise £110m by the end of this month or they will be banned from making any new signings this summer - I'd be ok with us making a cheeky low ball bid for lewandowski tbh. Yes age is against him slightly, but he is still a top striker and I would much rather buy him than sesko or vlahovic with the money they will cost

£14-20m (the higher we get the more add one included). I think that would be a very mutually beneficial deal for all involved. Barca get cash, we get a genuine goalscorer on the cheap and Lewandowski gets a good pay day plus can still shine in the PL.
Frees up some spending money for a much needed CM and LB, if we avoid bigger fees on a Sesko et al.
