He's 36 , you'd really us buy him than an up and coming striker?augie wrote: ↑Sun Jun 09, 2024 11:22 amDaily Mail also says that barca have to raise £110m by the end of this month or they will be banned from making any new signings this summer - I'd be ok with us making a cheeky low ball bid for lewandowski tbh. Yes age is against him slightly, but he is still a top striker and I would much rather buy him than sesko or vlahovic with the money they will cost

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
I read we're asking £10m for Tierney which is all well & good if we can get it. So far we've raised sweet FA in sales. it's ok to say we're selling ESR, Smith Rowe, Nketiah and Nelson but will anyone actually buy any of them? It'll be an interesting summer or at least I hope it will.

Context is everything buddy - I said that I would buy him if he was cheap rather than spending big money on unproven player like sesko or 2nd rate vlahovic. Personally I would sign toney ahead of the 3 of them cos he has pace, is good in the air, and is premier league proven

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
I know nothing about him admittedly, but would rather us unearth a gem at a lowish price than pay 100 plus later.augie wrote: ↑Sun Jun 09, 2024 5:16 pmgooner265 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 09, 2024 3:16 pmHe's 36 , you'd really us buy him than an up and coming striker?augie wrote: ↑Sun Jun 09, 2024 11:22 amDaily Mail also says that barca have to raise £110m by the end of this month or they will be banned from making any new signings this summer - I'd be ok with us making a cheeky low ball bid for lewandowski tbh. Decision made for talented striker, similar to what Haaland decided back in the days at BVB.

Šeško will stay at Leipzig with a new gentlemen agreement for future exit.

Translated as: the stubborn idiot in charge is going to fuck it up again and not sign a real goal scorer.

The club are also keen to strengthen in the wide positions & may now prioritise a winger instead of a more traditional striker. [@SamJDean] #afc
