Let's All Laugh At Man Utd! (Merged thread)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

There were murmurings from the house of Wenger that "we were looking at Martial"... Another Virtual Player in pursuit of the Virtual Trophy .

Wenger's recent record of signing french has been ducking terrible. Lloris, varane, matuidi, pogba and now martial who is more like henry than henry himself. It makes me sick, we played monaco twice last season and wenger saw nothing???

OK i get we might have been priced out but now look at the alternative we have in giroud. Giroud is slowly starting to fade after improving on the previous season (at least in goals scored). Unfortunately looks like he's peaked and don't think he'll pull out of this bad patch. Can't even pull is limp thumb out of his arsehole knowing full well he's playing to lead the french attack at the euros. He'll be lucky to make the squad at this rate. Not sure i can handle the subsequent banter if loic remy makes the squad ahead of giroud

Martial though. Imagine the gloating when he scores the winner against us, after having a terrible/quiet game, in a couple of weeks

Some very rash conclusions being drawn about Martial already.

I am SO relieved that AFC doesnt go in for this bull, and pays for proper consultancy fees of £3m per year
I think it's time I researched my family tree very very thoroughly.

To those who asked why this thread was locked, the simple answer is I have no idea whatsoever :?

I can't see an obvious reason so I've unlocked it again.

Right, now we can keep laughing! There's gonna be plenty more to take pleasure in yet! Shrek, Catwalk Jones, Schweinsteiger, Feillaini, have all got comedy potential.

I might be a lesser mod but at least I can read. I locked the thread 10 days ago when Manure went top. It seems mighty foolish to me to have a "laugh at" thread for a team who are basically at the same level as us. Especially as there is a perfectly good match thread to take the piss on.

Yep. And was that day a Saturday? :rubchin: And, indeed, a Saturday afternoon? :rubchin:

Methinks it was. My reading seems fine.

Congrats on the win yesterday - you were fantastic at times and blew us away.

We're still a million miles away from being title contenders. I can only see Man City winning the thing this season mainy due to their wizard Silva and Aguero the best player in the league.

Hope I'm wrong and you lot win it if we can't (which we won't).
