Fernando to citeeh agreed according to porto with the deal rumoured to be £12m - we should have bid for him because we would have either got the tough physical defensive midfielder we need, or we would have pushed up the price to a club that is already under pressure due to ffp

so currently our first choice team for the new season is something like this:

Chesney
Jenkinson
Gibbs
Koscielny
Mertesacker
Ozil
Ramsey
Arteta
Cazorla
Oxlade Chamberlain
Giroud

I suppose if we only sell Sagna then that is not too bad - should be able to scrape another 4th place if Giroud doesnt get injured/ Campbell transfers his form from the World Cup

Sagna went on a freebie to $hitty - all because Le Cock & Co didn't sort out a contract with him 2 seasons ago when they knew his contract was due to expire.

As for Campbell he may well show 'Potential' but it will still take him time to adjust to the prem and of course to Le Cock playing him on the wing!

Ju Young Park and Nicklas Bendtner were released by Arsenal.

:barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

In the other news, Suarez will now stay at Victims FC, since he cannot do anything football related for 4 months, I believe that includes transfers too.

Er, no. I'm afraid you're bang wrong. To question our sainted boss is heresy and you can expect a vist from the Islington Inquisition sharpish.

Repent now.

The spokeswoman for FIFA said she wasn't sure but I doubt they will try and impose it over transfers as well, too messy and not entirely appropriate either (imo at least).

Guillem Balague is so full of shit, his credibility comes down to a convincing authentic Spanish accent. Naturally within a few hours of the ban being announced he has managed to ascertain both clubs' plans before they've even figured them out themselves.

Right down there with Tancredi Palmeri, Geoff Arsenal and his sidekick McDowell in terms of spreading shit rumours :barscarf:
