As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Arsenal have had a bid rejected for Wolves goalkeeper Dan Bentley. Told offer was £50,000, which is a way off Wolves' valuation. Goalkeeper has one year left on his contract.

Tbf I never even heard of the guy when he was with AFC years ago, and he has done fcuk all in his career since, so how much can he be worth ? I correctly stated last season that having two number one keepers simply does not work, but this signing would be the other end of the scale altogether imo - I would compare it to signing a non league keeper and having him as back up in champions league and it makes no sense to me

To be fair to us, on this one, they paid £57k for him and he's only played less than a handful of games for them.
Mikel Arteta held face-to-face talks with academy star Chido Obi-Martin recently to discuss the striker’s future at Arsenal.
There is an increasing internal confidence that the Gunners will fend off advanced interest from Bayern Munich to secure the Dane’s long-term commitment.
A decision and subsequent announcement is expected soon.
I haven't seen us linked to Dani Olmo which is strange as we are to everyone else. He's done well for Espana and his release clause of 50m expires on Monday.
@David_Ornstein on Calafiori: “This is a target for Mikel Arteta, this is a player he’d like to sign. He may have to convince some within Arsenal of this, to get everybody on board, because I think there are some concerns around whether Arsenal need that position.”
“Clearly Calafiori is extremely enthusiastic about the possibility of joining Arsenal. I was told some time ago that he’s completely on board if the clubs can agree a deal. Bologna are asking for around €50m, which many in the game feel is significantly above his market value.”
