Shocking quotes today, almost as bad as not being able to find anyone good enough who could improve on the squad, the sad thing is, he has so many idiots that buy into his nonsense.

Wenger hasn't got a clue what being a supporter really means. He seems to have this almost childlike view that we should all be unquestioning, non-thinking half-wits waving a red and white stripey scarf above our head :barscarf:

This reminds me of that fan Wenger came across in the toilets at Stamford Bridge 4 or 5 years ago who told Wenger he didn't believe that Arsenal would win the league. I'm paraphrasing slightly but apparently Wenger told him that lack of belief meant he wasn't a 'real fan'

The fact that this fan turned out to be absolutely fcuking spot on doesn't seem to matter. But it shows what a deluded idiot Wenger can be :banghead:

very sour, spiteful comments from wenger. is he trying to make all of the long-term, traditional supporters lose all respect for him? it usually doesn't get much lower as a manager than to criticize the fans, thats usually the siren for a man who has lost all control, and is looking to dump blame and attention on something else :|

although the time has passed since I would become shocked and outraged at his ramblings, now they're just becoming sad. just shut up and leave, stop doing everything in your power to discredit yourself ffs

The thing with Wenger is that he is one of the 'old skool'.

With that, I mean he's not ever going to buy if HE thinks it's not neccessary. You Gooners will probably disagree with me but Fergie was similiar in some respects. He was too stubborn to improve our midfield and was certain that Cleverley and Carrick were enough. He even let Pogba go and played Rafael there instead of him when we had an injury crisis.

The modern day manager knows that MONEY TALKS now. You simply have to buy good players to compete with the best teams. Bayern, Barca, Real Madrid, Juventus, Man City and Chelsea add to their squads most years and make sure that they've got enough to compete for trophies. We've now joined that gang of teams although I still think we're a million miles away from competing for a title.

When Wenger goes, you'll bring in a manager who will do a 'Van Gaal' and get rid of the deadwood (Walcott, Welbeck, Rosicky etc) and build a squad. Because you've got the money and prestige - Arsenal are a f**king huge football club.

It's just a waiting game for you lot.

I really, really BELIEVE that Theo Walcott is better than Lionel Messi, and not an overrated, injury prone, wage thief, and he will definitely lead us to the next 3 league titles, a couple of be all and end all cups and numerous other domestic trophies.

I really BELIEVE this, because i'm a true fan, and not a complete thick, fucking moron.

Come on you disloyal bastards, lets back our without-a-doubt, elite, couldn't be improved by anyone other player in the world, brilliant, talented squad who absolutely are not average or second rate in any way whatsoever.

Come on you fuckers. BELIEEEVVEEEE!!!!!

Hang on a minute, was he waiting for Jesus to come down and slot in to the lone striker role??

I do kind of get that in that statement he is urging the fans to get behind the team, but it does smack of "just shut up and stop moaning about lack of transfers....i know best"

I'm just suprised he didn't say about going to the supermarket and picking up a defensive mid!

Some of the mindless personal insults that are gratuitously thrown Wenger's way on here are cringeful and I don't indulge.

But his comments today are the mark of an untouchable, facetious prick. I just don't understand how people can read that and think "yep, fair enough".

The thing that gets me is the stupidity that people sink to when they are defending this past transfer window. There are people who are defending him when there were loads of strikers out there who would have been better than Walcott and Giroud. However, they are saying things on how there wasn't value, etc. etc. as if they had an inside scoop which none of them did. It is propaganda at its worst.

As much as we all think that Giroud is pretty average to a decent striker, he is going to have so much pressure on him this season because we don't have another striker in the squad. The knives will be out as soon as he starts to play badly and there aren't any other options because we all know that Walcott isn't really a viable option. I reckon that this transfer balls-up will be worse than last year with the lack of centrebacks.

Right on cue, Arsene's personal butt-hole squeaks. You must be a true fan, as you'll swallow everything Arsene feeds you!
Supporters blindly follow. Mugs ask questions and demand better standards. Ask David Koresh

Might there something going on behind the scenes?
Possibly there is more than meets the eye to all this?

Lord Harris said in July we have £200M to spend.

Yet

Wenger recently speaks out about "Internal Solutions."
