Why would anybody leave champion league contenders to join chump league also rans.
Yet it is unimaginable how nobody could be found to better the like of Giroud, I mean seriously!?!?!?
There can be little attraction for any ambitious player to join Arsenal and that in itself is a shameful reflection upon the reign of Wenger!
Three names
Czech
Ozil
Sanchez
But let's not get the facts in the way of a boring story lol
Laughing Gooner I put it to you is anything ever Arsenes fault??
I've been critical if Wenger in the past;
Too stubborn
Can't delegate
Tactically been found wanting
Too loyal to under achieving players.
But some of the criticism on this site of him here is laughable.
No balance whatsoever.
Any time we lose, it's solely down to Wenger.
Any time we win, it's in spite of Wenger.
It's the same old story with many here.
Why don't you just cut and paste your posts and get out and enjoy life a little
what season under Wenger are you expecting us to land our next league title or first CL title?that is the bottom line here,we could sign messi and Ronaldo, bale and pogba and jesus of fucking Nazareth but under our current regime we will never see another league title unless of course you know different???? copy and paste posts you say, well Wenker has been copying and pasting whole seasons season after season, copy, paste repeat till nausea sets in and for most of us here it has a long time ago.obviously your expectations for our club differ massively from ours???

The point that was being made is that world class first choice players are highly unlikely to come to the Arsenal these days due to the perceived lack of ambition within the club.
These days? if Cech, Ozil and Sanchez don't meet your criteria, which "world class first choice players" have ever joined Arenal?
I keep reading people criticise or look down their nose at signings like Cech, Ozil and Sanchez because they were "easy", or "reserves" or that the selling club needed money, but if those 3 get criticised, which signings through our history are above criticism?
Bergkamp? - failed to impress in Italy and wanted a move.
Vieira? - reserve player at AC Milan
Henry? - failed to impress in Italy and wanted a move
Wrighty? - signed from Palace so not difficult
Gilberto? - signed from Brazil and wanted a move to Europe
Pires? - signed from France and wanted to play for a bigger club
Overmars? - injury prone and on the cheap
etc....
Not sure whether you are deliberately misreading my post or not but maybe try re-reading it G88ner.
I like all 3 players you mentioned, i think they were excellent buys for us but i will reiterate the point, not one of those players was able to retain a consistent first team place at their old clubs and therefore were happy to move for regular first team football, now if you know otherwise please enlighten me.
The point i was making is that i do not believe that any world class first team player would come to Arsenal as we currently are. Offers from other more ambitious clubs would in most probability be accepted over one we made simply because anybody with half a brain can see that the heirarchy at the club seem to lack the ambition to succeed in the competitions players at the top of their game want to win, domestic and champions leagues.
Can any of us honestly see Messi, Neymar, Higuain, Hummels, Draxler, Martinez, Cavani, even Benzema who are currently in teams more than capable of challenging for their domestic leagues and/or the CL coming to the Arsenal?

You're not very bright are you?
Lol could never rise to the the intellectual levels of the regular posters here......
Just need to think of new ways to abuse Wenger and them I'll be accepted as one of the crowd here

That really is a stupid and sweeping generalisation. I think you'll find most of the posters on here can give credit where and when it's due, but won't become sheep and give credit where it's not due. I accept there are a couple of idiots that can't post a sensible comment but they are the minority.
The reality is, is that Wenger is a despot. AND his bad buys outweigh the good by miles. For every Sanchez there is a Bendtner, every RvP there is a Sanogo, every Cazorla there is an Arteta, the list goes on & on...... He also brings in players who wouldn't make the starting line up of any of the top 6 clubs and then when they under perform he continues to back and protect them.
And the minute ANYONE in the press points out the obvious or criticises him in any way he circles the wagons, digs his heels in and continues endlessly down the same path in an a vain attempt to prove everybody else is wrong. He has complete immunity from the board, refuses to address the fans concerns and is kept in place by an army of "In Wenger we trust" supporters. It is madness.

To be fair, he has a point. I wouldn't put that 'loose' figure at a minority. In the past, I have posted credit when we have done very well, but tumbleweeds have blown past. That could well be because I am complete c*nt, but it could also be because there are many on here who let their hatred of Wenger cloud their judgement as much as one of 'His Beloved Sheep'.
That being said, Laughing Gooner, I don't think that I have ever ever seen you be critical of Wenger on this site. You only come on here to snipe at other posters like a WUM. You never really offer anything other than that and now you are saying that you have been critical of Wenger in the past? Why not try posting something other than the snipes and WUMing?

It can seem like that on here I agree, but I would say there is balance to a certain degree, and that there are 3 distinct "major" groups on here;
1. the minority that hate Wenger and have difficulty even being sensible about it,
2. the other minority that are sheep and similarly their love of Wenger blinds them to any sensible debate,
3. the majority that want Wenger gone, but remember and respect what he did for us in the first 10 years and can admit when he gets something right and similarly criticise when he gets it wrong. (included in this group might be people that once respected Wenger but have grown to hate and despise him over the last 8 or so years but can still hold a reasonable debate).
Now I know some of our whinier vagina-carrying bitches will object to the generalisation there and I agree it is a generalisation to some extent as there are people that would fit within the edges of some of those groups and wouldn't be strictly defined by them. But I would say it is still only the minority that only post hate-inspired rubbish.
I don't know you well enough to make a call on your level of cuntdom but if you are anything like SPUDMASHER then goddamn boy you is an Uber-*word censored*!!
I'm at the stage now where I look forward to him being made to look a total prick. It's like I want to shout: "See what we mean. See what we've been putting up with for years" to the rest of the world. I feel sorry for players like Ozil and Sanchez that have had him thrust upon their careers but most of the others I have no sympathy for because they put up with the *word censored* when they should be standing up to him or marching into the boardroom to get him out. I can't understand how professional footballers can tolerate his utter stupidity, clueless tactics and ego-mania. All I can conclude is that they are lazy and unfussed and have a quiet, easy, happy life under Wanker.

Truthfully these players are quite happy with the way things are at the club. Where else is Giroud going to get 130k a week, or be a starting striker for a top team. Only at Arsenal do you get in the team even if you are shit the week before, such as Ramsey. Also, your under zero pressure to win anything at the club, and if you are into winning anything you'll soon fuck off. Wenger has created a losers club, and there are plenty of happy members.
