Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I cant imagine Wenger giving any defenders the hairdryer treatment after that shambolic 2nd goal.
He was probably more concerned with trying to repair his own damaged ego in front of the press.

Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil, 26, will receive a "serious" offer from Turkish side Fenerbahce, according to the player's agent. (Takvim via Independent)
Oh! Well bye bye don't let the door hit you in the back on your way out!

Can't see Ozil going there just yet, that's where the has-beens go to extend their careers and bank balances a bit.OneBardGooner wrote:http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/gossip/

Well, considering he has not met the demands and expectations that a player costing £42 Million should....the last bit of what you say is Correct...I can easily see him sneaking off...casgooner wrote:Can't see Ozil going there just yet, that's where the has-beens go to extend their careers and bank balances a bit.OneBardGooner wrote:http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/gossip/

I couldn't give a flying fuck if Ozil goes or not. As expected in a game where we needed characters he was absolutely fucking anonymous today

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I see you slated Costa elsewhere on here, but compere his attitude and commitment to the cause to Ozils contribution.SteveO 35 wrote:I couldn't give a flying fuck if Ozil goes or not. As expected in a game where we needed characters he was absolutely fucking anonymous today
As a team, when we had the ball Chelsea were right up in our faces, when they were in possession we stood off them.
I am not condoning Costa's actions but wouldn't it be refreshing if a few of our boys had just a fraction of his mentality.
Instead we have Walcott and Ozil to mention just 2 acting like choirboys.
Are we unable to be niggly, be difficult, be aggressive, act like that c**t with the ball is your worse enemy?
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
You can have that mentality without being a cheating c.unt mate - Alexis has it, Gabriel has it, and we had plenty who used to have it in spades like Adams, Dixon, Winterburn, Bould, Keown, PV4, Wrighty, Lauren, Parlour etc.foxinthebox2001 wrote:I see you slated Costa elsewhere on here, but compere his attitude and commitment to the cause to Ozils contribution.SteveO 35 wrote:I couldn't give a flying fuck if Ozil goes or not. Of course we want committed players with the right attitude, but I don't see why you should compromise that and become an absolute cheating c.unt who goes round trying to get oppo players sent off
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Agreed. Football should be dealing with these despicable cheats who cast a shadow over the beautiful game; we shouldn't be demanding more of them!SteveO 35 wrote:You can have that mentality without being a cheating c.unt mate - Alexis has it, Gabriel has it, and we had plenty who used to have it in spades like Adams, Dixon, Winterburn, Bould, Keown, PV4, Wrighty, Lauren, Parlour etc.foxinthebox2001 wrote:I see you slated Costa elsewhere on here, but compere his attitude and commitment to the cause to Ozils contribution.SteveO 35 wrote:I couldn't give a flying fuck if Ozil goes or not. Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I've always said if you're not cheating then you're not trying...in the return games want us to win with THE most controversial dive roll around penalty ever and when the decision is given our player is to get up straight away and wave the imaginary card then fall to the ground again rolling around holding his face
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Yeah, that would be fantastic. I'd love that so much. As proud a moment as Eduardo diving against Celtic and Pires diving against Portsmouth.hartson wrote:I've always said if you're not cheating then you're not trying...in the return games want us to win with THE most controversial dive roll around penalty ever and when the decision is given our player is to get up straight away and wave the imaginary card then fall to the ground again rolling around holding his face
Wouldn't it just be fucking great to beat them fair and square like we used to every bloody year up until 2004

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Fair enough - they could have spent £5 billion on players and I still wouldn't want us to win by acting like a bunch of cheating, play acting, imaginary card waving c.untsRedarmy wrote:Yeah problem being they have spent about 500 million since then on new playersSteveO 35 wrote:Yeah, that would be fantastic.
