Let's All Laugh At Man Utd! (Merged thread)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

It's piss-funny and will continue to be so until they inevitably dump us out of the Europa in the semi-final.

Tonight was like a blast from the past for me - back in the 1992-1997 timeframe I was very much an ABU (anyone but united), and was getting more joy from watching those c*nts losing than I was from my own team (we were gone into a mini slump at that time). Now that we have returned to those days (where we were not genuine challengers), my main footie enjoyment comes from watching the chavs, manure and the victims losing big games (seeing the scum lose happens too often and rarely provides the same heightened enjoyment) and tonight I was almost in an orgasmic state watching those w*nkers fcuk up their holy grail

That og with the 2 headers by Wolfsburg is probably the worst thing I've seen at any level of the game, total horseshit

Just noticed that Man Utd's newfound Thursday night commitments will impact our game up there at the end of February.

It's currently scheduled for Saturday 27th, but with Man Utd playing on Thursday 25th, it will have to be moved to the Sunday or Monday.

Not a huge deal, as it's often on the Sunday anyway, but if anyone's making travel plans, rule out the Saturday for sure.

Van Gaal's smoke and mirrors are disappearing rapidly. The bloke is a fraud and if he wasn't a big name would be getting hammered. The club and players have given him unequivocal backing - far more than can be said for Moyes - and he's spending an absolute fortune to peddle water well below where they should be.

Even John Hartson can see it - some spot on comments last night.

Fuck em. Wankers, all of em. Twenty-odd years of unheralded success, winning everything they wanted and exceeding all their expectations after 25 years of shit and now their whinging because they're bored. Fuck off. I tell you what was fucking boring, teams going up to OId Fucking Trafford and being cheated out of games from the first second to the last, watching their players fall over in the box and get a penalty, having ten minutes added on when they needed to find a goal, never getting a penalty as an away team for 10 fucking years and knowing full-well that you had to play 12 men to even get a point. That was fucking boring.

As for Van Gaal, I thought he was a tactical genius. I mean, he substituted a goalkeeper before a shoot-out. Wasn't that the single most amazing thing anyone has ever seen on a football pitch? What's happened?

i dont really see how we can laugh at this lot though to be honest.
look at the success this lot have had in the past 20 years - makes Wenger's record look particularly small time.

Van Gaal is only in his second season whilst Wenger has been here 20.....yet this supposedly crap side is only ONE point behind us in the league. now that is embarassing

Might as well laugh at them while we can. We might be joining them in Europa tonight, we won't be laughing then! On the other hand we might go through, the we cant truly laugh at them. :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Far be it for me to defend le cock here, but van gaal has spent £250 million and they are still utter dogshite - they still have an average defence, still have a vanilla midfield (nobody able to create something from nothing), and are still dependent on a unproven rookie striker and a fat non motivated scouser for goals  Depay looks like this season's di maria - started on fire but now looks distinctly average. If moyes had of been allowed spend £250m on player recruitment, he would certainly have accumulated a better and more exciting team 8)
