THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Might explain why such a moral man who is so firmly against this silly money in football pilfers such an obscene amount of money out of the club.

Sad to read the reports of his marriage break up , on a brighter note his ex missus is getting to do something that we would all love to do...get rid of the fucker. Seriously he said ten years ago he would remain for another five. So that is five years of supporting a competitive Arsenal we have lost and will not be getting back.

Sad to hear of the break up of Arsene's marriage. But perhaps it was a long time coming and they're both happier. I hope so anyway. :|

Looks like he promised his wife that he would walk away from football a couple of years ago. Pity that he didn't.

Expect to see a redaction march in the very near future begging le cock to stay and with banners proclaiming "love arsenal, hate annie"

Tbh I don't give a flying fcuk about his marriage breaking up - not being overly dramatic, but everything involving The Arsenal has had an effect on my personal life for years and in recent years he has given me a lot more shit days than good one's, so if he suffers in his personal life too then I don't give a fcuk :x

I bet it won't take him eight years to replace her, he'll find a market full of "quality" and tbh she was beginning to look a "leetle bit jaded physically"

it has been a long time coming the day that Wenger fucks out of this club.
the Arsenal fanbase will be happier when he leaves, that I am sure of.

the divorce revelation explains a lot though.
he clealry spent the summer sorting out his divorce settlement rather than doing what he is paid to do - strengthen the football team.
he also no longer has anyone to advise him to retire, and he will also need the money - this is a very bad day as far as I am concerned - we are stuck with the :censored: for ever now

Excuses, excuses, excuses - last summer he was fcuking about on brazil's beaches when he should have been doing club business, and who can forget the transfer deadline day when he went to referee a charirt game in rome when he should have been at home taking care of business ? :x
The AKB are going to cling onto this now as a reason why he left us badly short in the last transfer window, but the truth is that we have had many shit transfer windows because of him in the past, and this has all the hallmarks of a pr timed leak to me

Thats my point too xgtdec - he could have walked away at anytime to save his marraige if that is what he wanted, but he stayed and continued to pocket the £8.5m per season for doing the square root of fcuk all :x we on the other hand are born and bred Gooners and will be Gooners long after he has left the club, so walking away isnt really an option for us.
I'm not glad that his marriage has broken up or anything, but at the same time I dont feel any sympathy for him either

Agreed. I don’t give a fcuk either about his personal life or his marriage problems. Don’t even feel sorry for his wife. She chose to marry someone that she would have known was pretty weird and obsessive.

No doubt the line will be something nauseating like how Wenger has sacrificed his personal life with his dedication to Arsenal ...but the truth is he puts himself and his own interests ahead of everyone and everything else because he is a very selfish, arrogant man.

Surprised she stayed with him so long after he was rumbled hanging out the rear of that French rapper. Maybe he should walk away from Arsenal to try and patch things up with her? That's my recommendation anyway and he can go with my 100% blessing :barscarf:
