THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He has real problems with the team in lots of areas, especially up front

Hope Walcott can make the grade, Ian Wright would be the man to learn from

As for the squad Debuchy and Arteta are so off the pace, Ramsey and Chamberlain off form, Giroud out of confidence

Still he had all those summer months to remedy, but could not find anyone better
I think Wenger could have managed Chamberlain better.

The lad was full of confidence and playing well in pre-season but that confidence/form seems to have deserted him as he's spent a lot of time on the bench with Ramsey appearing to be first choice on the right.

That said, it's up to Chamberlain to force his way into the side by playing well and stop losing the balls in the Arsenal half.

"Stop losing balls"

I totally agree..4 opp goals conceeded like this.

See 3rd goal versus Monaco.

nthony Martial's agent has hit out at Arsene Wenger for claiming he passed up on the Manchester United marksman because he saw him as a winger……Wenger decided not to sign him before his move to Monaco or to United because he saw him as a winger and not a striker.

But Lamboley said: “Anthony is a true modern centre-forward who can play a part,” He added: “‘I am surprised by the analysis of Arsene Wenger, who has apparently been following him since he was a teenager.  “If the analysis Arsene Wenger has made is in order to justify not having signed Anthony, I accept he is a winger. “But in football, there are those who follow players and those who buy them.”

Haven't we heard this before with Ronaldo, Drogba, Messi, Hazard, Suarez......The excuses are tiring & boring and even the agents can't take his bullshit anymore.

Ronaldo, Drogba, Messi, Hazard, Suarez,Benzama,Lewendoski,Abumayeng
All were checked out by his 24/7 worldwide scouting network but were deemed no improvement on the "internal solutions".

What a rip off club.

Why is Mourinho obsessed with Wenger's job security? He's been at it again why is he jealous, does he secretly want to be Arsenal manager? He's a 2 x Champions league winner and won league titles in the 3 top leagues in the world. He's a bit nuts.

Maybe, like most of us he believes Wenger is holding one of the best jobs in English football while treading water and lining his and the owners pockets.

G88ner. When I told you there were Actually Arsenal fans out there claiming Jose was jealous of Le Tool, you asked whether these fans existed and if so, where they were. Well, here's your answer! Looking forward to you reply... :rubchin:

Want Wenger gone a much as any other proper Gooner, but Moureen's evident obsession with him is somewhat unbecoming of a top footie manager.

He was asked nothing pertaining to Wenger, yet he steered the conversation to taking snipes a him.

A tremendously classless *word censored* indeed.
