G88ner. When I told you there were Actually Arsenal fans out there claiming Jose was jealous of Le Tool, you asked whether these fans existed and if so, where they were. Well, here's your answer! Looking forward to you reply... :rubchin:
I dont think he is jealous of him exactly, but maybe he sees the stuation Wenger is in, finish 4th = job for life, and compares it to his own.
If he finished 4th once, never mind perenially, Abromovich would have his finger on the trigger.

Sorry mate are you comparing Arsenal with that scum club Chelsea???

Scum racist fans, John Terry enough said....owner who stole his money from Russian people, fuck me they are the most scum club ever ...bar none
Of course not, we are if nothing else, a club with class and history.
The point was endorsing what Maureen said, Wenger could carry on another ten years finishing 4th, winning the odd fa cup but never coming close to the title, and still no one in the boardroom will question him.
It takes some one from the outside to get at least some media pressure on him.
Unfortunately, the vast majority of the press seem to treat him like a football god.

I understand that reluctance with ex players not wanting to go down the Stewart Robson route.
I am talking more of the free press, John Cross for example.
Paddy Barclay of the Standard has sometimes been a bit critical but 1 victory and he is full of praise of him again.

ALL the media are riding the gravy train - regardless of whose pre-match/post-match interview they are attending - They gobble up the lies/shyte and smugness from the managers and coaches - whilst being fed and watered AND getting paid handsomely for doing so....all of em are Ceeeunts. end of.

Please read the end..he's a bit nuts... Mourinho takes a dig a Wenger every time...latest being one manager being specialist at playing with 10 men...I'd say he's jealous cos Wenger can go 10 years without winning a trophy and has job security when everyone gets sacked even after winning champions league. Mourinho looks at us and is jealous cos he's at a Lidl club and could get the sack after winning the league, whereas Wenger is at a Harrods club and gets a job for life regardless of results. Something José is crying out for...if the board offered him the job he take it quicker than fabregas left us for Barcelona, and he'll probably bring him with him and appoint cashley as 1st team coach.

So desperate for attention it's embarrassing. Hopefully Wenger has finally figured out that the best way to deal with Mourinho is just to ignore him and let Mourinho make a fool of himself.

Northbank123 you're right, and the best thing would be to ignore Jose.
The problem is, Le Tool cannot. He just can't do it and that's for a variety of reasons such as:

1. Mourinho being the far superior manager
2. That head to head record. Shocking.
3. That comparative CL record
4. League titles won etc

He's responded again today Wenger, it's just too easy for Mourinho to get under his skin. Remember when Arsenal had a great team and he responded to Fergie with the "prettiest wife" comment? That was a great answer as he wasn't clearly fussed and he basically had let Fergie rant and rant

He can't do it with Mourinho and the prof is the way Jose baited him into not spending over summer with his comments! :shock:
Here's Lord A's quotes for today
==============
"The end is nowhere near in the war of words between Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho.

The feud now appears to have been reignited even further with the Arsenal manager striking back at his Chelsea counterpart after the Portuguese boss claimed Le Prof boasts special “privilege” in front of the FA.

The Special One made these remarks after the Gunners boss escaped punishment from the FA despite labeling Mike Dean “naïve” in the wake of his controversial performance in Arsenal’s 2-0 loss to the Blues.

Wenger was also successful in appealing Gabriel Paulista’s red card from the Stamford Bridge tie to the FA and subsequently avoiding a three-match ban for the Brazilian center-back, whilst also seeing Diego Costa banned for three games.

“In this country one manager is not under pressure,” Jose stated.

"He can speak about referees, push people in the technical areas, can cry in the morning and afternoon, nothing happens.

"Cannot achieve, keep his job, can still be the king, it is privilege.”

However, the English Premier League’s longest serving manager argues that this is not a matter of special treatment, but rather him doing his job as manager of the north London side.

“No, I didn’t realise that, I must say. I feel I have just done my job with the team and for our fans.

“That’s what you want. Thirty years in football now, I know what is important is to play football well.”
=======
30 years got a mention :barscarf: :barscarf:

Especially love the bit when he claims he "does it for the fans"
Would those be the same fans he was telling off last week about "how to support"? :rubchin:

I especially like the part where he says that the important thing is "to play football well".........no mention of prioritising trophies or anything :roll:
