I'm actually not ashamed to say that my last game paying to watch ARSENE WENGER Asenal was the CL final vs Barcawhores.
I've spent squillions following MY Arsenal down the decades.
I'm relieved that I made the decision to get ahead with my bills and bank overdrafts, rather than pay into this Ponzi scheme.
I'll be back, only when MY Arsenal is returned to me.

Fuck off you frauds in MY club. You know who you are.

Anyone any thoughts on whether Wengers divorce will make him more or less determined to hang on?

On the one hand his financial loss is probably going to be severe, so the poor feckers going to need a few more years to make up for it,

on the other it may sap him of his little remaining drive and energy, prompting an early retirement

Or he may take the eye off even more of the ball and get sacked.... :?

Incidentally does anyone think that the cost or"enjoyment" of STs matchday corporosity or overall match day experience at The bowl will change if and when he goes.

I don't know if anyone watched the highlights show on BT but Humphreys has just confirmed a rumour Myles Palmer first touted on ANR last night. Thought Palmer was chatting shite but Humphreys claims their sources confirm there's truth in the rumour and this is what it is:
Apparently, after finding out Cech was signing Ospina was furious.
Arsene Wenker, being the weak-willed Loser he is, doesn't want to do tough rutess decisions or confrontation. So he allegedly promised Ospina that he would start all cup matches, including the CL.
That is unbelievable.

Wenker basically put a player's desires before the good of the club.
And Arsenal fans dare claim Citeh is an "oil money plaything"?
Arsenal is now Le Tool's Plaything.

It's not the first time he's put a player's personal desire before the club.
Why is Flamini there at all? Didn't have a club, wanted by no one. Le Tool does him a favour.
How about the numerous Diaby contract extensions?
How about going to the board and pleasing with them to let Cesc join Barca for a cut-price £35m when they wanted to hold out for £50m?
How about doing "what Robin wanted" and selling him to Fergie when Juve had matched the offer?

It's beyond fucking outrageous. What's funnier than anything is we're not talking about Le Tool appeasing a big ego world class player. Nope. We're talking about some mediocre journeyman who couldn't catch a haddock in the North Sea FFS

Shocking. And to think GG taking bungs was a "bad thing"...

think your description of ospina is way way OTT mate, he is an international GK , Columbia got to the quarters of the Copa Amrica, where they got beaten on pens 5-4 by Argentina. in the semi Argentina thrashed Paraguay who had beaten brazil in the quarters. In last WC Columbia lost in the QFs to Brazil (A rather dubious few descisions went against them. Columbia is a petty good team at the moment, and he is a big part of their team.

Can you name any other matches where Ospina hasnt done OK for us? Quite a few are concerned that your old buddy Cech isnt quite the real deal anyway .

Ospina has been capped 58 times. As Ive said the Ospina things a smokescreen, he may well be hung out to dry by Wenger trying an ego job and deflecting the attention from a totally appalling display he was responsible for...

It now seems the players are starting to leak to the rags too. Someone clearly trying to give the message that Le Tool is responsible...

As some of us have pointed out mate its a convenient way to essentially blame Ospina and mask the real issues, so could even have been AFC leaking the story- the issues as (I hope) you know run way deeper than whether Cech or Ospina was selected.

AISA and Red *****-tion have woken from hibernation and finally started to mobilise :barscarf:

At our last committee meeting AISA agreed to support the Football Supporters Federation’s weekend of fan-led action on ticket prices – in support of the “Twenty’s Plenty” campaign. Fans from all 20 Premier League clubs will be taking part in joint photo opportunities this weekend, demonstrating that supporters from all clubs agree on an issue that affects us all.
REDaction are leading the activities on behalf of Arsenal supporters and are planning a photo opportunity (with Manchester United fans) at the roundabout near the Armoury.

Taking selfies with united fans, the equivalent of Nero fiddling while Rome burned :barscarf:

Aaah yes that time of year when the bs "Wenger lets rip at squad" stories come out.
The same hairdryer treatment he no doubt gave them after West Ham, Zagreb and Stamford Bridge eh?
Yup with the players leaking their unhappiness at his ineptitude I'm sure they'll be quaking in their boots. New contracts all round coming over summer.... :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Football365 have done a superb job savaging Le Tool today.

Arsenal’s ‘1/100’
“I believe we had a bit of bad luck as well because they had four shots on target and scored three goals and that happens once in 100 Champions League games” – Arsene Wenger.

It was a defence weaker than that displayed by Arsenal during an evening on which their hopes of Champions League progression took a hammer blow. To suggest that Arsenal were unfortunate because they only allowed four shots on target is as one-eyed an assessment of shambolic defeat as it is possible to find.

Firstly, it ignores the fact that this sort of thing always seems to happen to Arsenal. Last season they conceded six times from 12 shots on target against Monaco and Anderlecht, two other European heavyweights who were able to leave the Emirates undefeated. Since the start of last season in the Premier League, Arsenal have conceded three goals from four shots on target against Stoke, two goals from two shots on target against Manchester United and Everton, and one from their only shot on target faced against Hull.

It’s not the number of chances Arsenal are allowing, but the type. It is still too easy for a good – but not great – attacking midfield to weave a way through their defence, as evidenced again on Tuesday. (Wenger’s assessment also ignores that one of Olympiacos’ goals didn’t even come from a shot but from the ineptitude of David Ospina).

The principal reason for this occurrence is Arsenal’s regular lapses of defensive concentration, a trait that will continue to hamper any attempts at progress. That was a point even Wenger conceded after the match:

“I thought we lacked quality defensive concentration,” he said. “The turning point was 2-2 and after a difficult start at 2-2 we gave them a goal and that was the turning point of the game.”

But how can that be? How can a side go into a must-not-lose match in the Champions League at home and just switch off so appallingly as they did for Olympiacos’ third goal? These are not poor defenders, and this has been occurring for some time, so therefore it must be indicative of a wider malaise. A malaise that Wenger has repeated shown an inability to address. If you’re repeatedly having to blame things on misfortune, perhaps you’re not rolling the dice properly."
