THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Don't forget we're leading the Calendar Year League :barscarf:

Hopefully we can add yet another Calendar Year Trophy to our growing list of virtual achievements!

isn't it great to be in a title race alongside Leicester City and Crystal Palace
Come the end of the season he'll flip-flop and say that only Man City could win it because of their massive wealth and other teams couldn't compete.

Apparently, he's set his leaving date June 30 2017. I'll be buying back my season ticket May 2017. How many believe he will go, after all he is a man of his word?

So, 2 seasons to win another league title and a champions league. Better sign some outfield players then. I would love to see him win the champions league with us. We deserve it!!!

Try 2027, you got no hope of getting a season ticket that soon unless you hold a bond from highbury.

Have this feeling that talks of how long one would have to wait for a season ticket, due to a ballooning waiting list, are grossly exaggerated. Wouldn't put it past those dodgy fuckers at the club to paint such a picture.

Wenger has raised our hopes that he'd fuck off in the past. I'll believe it when I see it. Until then, I'll assume he won't be leaving until he's in a coffin.

Then he can lie in state Lenin-style in the centre circle. The PL will allow us to play matches around the cadaver anyway, as he'll have been made 'eternal manager'. Kim Il-sung would be proud.

The crowd of happy clappers will chant 'His name is Arsene Wenger' endlessly, like in Fight Club.
