There have been reports that Everton have enquired about Eddie Nketiah from Arsenal.

Any move for Eddie Nketiah by Everton relies on Dominic Calvert-Lewin leaving the club first.

I’ll start by saying that I’m getting my tin hat on and that the following comment is based on the belief that I don’t think we’ll be adding a striker at all, let alone the quality I’d like to see.

So, if there is any truth in this rumour, then I’d offer Everton Nketiah and 10 million for Calvert-Lewin. In the absence of anyone else, I’d rather see him in the squad than Eddie.

Tim hat firmly on.

🚨 EXCL: Nottingham Forest working on deal to sign Eddie Nketiah from Arsenal. £25m (inc add-ons) opening bid rejected but talks continue - #NFFC top striker target. #AFC want ~£30/35m. #CPFC retain interest but no current club-to-club talks @TheAthleticFC

Ah, which OG forum members were they?

Could be any I suppose.

FFS not sterling.....that would be a disaster
on a side note has nekitah fucked off yet....and please take that liabilty zinchenko with him

I suppose there's still time for Eddie to go, but I'm afraid that Zinchenko, Partey and Jesus, who I was certain would all be gone this summer, will be key parts of our squad for the new season. :suicide:

That's code for "With them in our squad we Are Fucked" isn't it.

As for Calvert Lewin - He's a sick note of the same levels as Diabi (Sorry SteveO but he is!)

If IF everton DO come in for the feather we MUST sell him at any price... One of the Youngsters going through would be more effective than the lazy feather.

As for zinchenko & partey they proved again on Saturday beyond All Fucking Doubt that they are Absolute Smelly Dog SHIT, so fuck them both off for free, that way they can do less damage to our chances of silverware.

Indeed it is. You've got the Enigma machine for my posts haven't you? :rubchin:

No striker is coming in. That's why I made the point about Calvert-Lewin. Give the Toffees Eddie and 10 million and take C-W. Doesn't mean he's the striker who'd be on my list, but he's better than Eddie and as the bloke above says, we'll be a striker down if Eddie goes.

I do "concur" with the sick-note concerns though.

Of course, I'm now looking forward to the day when there's sure to be a few on here who will be telling me that I wanted to sign Calvert-Lewin. Keep it in context chaps.

🚨Eddie Nketiah’s executive box at the Emirates Stadium was being cleared today, as per @BlackScarfMarc.

Eddie Nketiah has already said his goodbyes to his Arsenal teammates. The move to Nottingham Forest is expected to happen, as per @AFCAMDEN.

Asking price for Toney supposedly dropped to £45m and we still not interested - we will reap what we again failed to sow
