Christ was just watching SS1 and they were showing all Henry's PL goals. Majestic in one sence but I felt a bit sad none the less at how we haven't even someone half that class banging in the goals these days.

Why must he fuck everything up.
It's not your money you old hasbeen *word censored*, now fuck off and let someone who will spend the money we have come in.
I used to fully believe that he wasn't getting the money to spend but now I fully believe we have the money but he won't spend it because he "disagrees with money in the modern game"

"The thing is he [Dick Law] doesn't like to argue. There are all these fantastic stories flying around from last summer. When he turned up at various clubs, delivered a first and final offer and then left again with a polite wave. And they never heard from him again."FreddyTheRed wrote:http://www.theguardian.com/football/blo ... popup=true
Listen from 16:30 and forward the Honigstein bloke on his take on the Draxler debacle and Dick Law's horrendous negotiation tactics. oh dear, oh dear![]()

Arsene: I want this player.
Board: Fine, Schalke want 37m for him. Here's the money.
Arsene: No, actually keep it. That's too much.
Fucking hell, only at Arsenal. These people are supposed to be Wenger's employers & bosses, not the other way around.

Ahh..that lovely familiar feeling of missing out on a player because wenker doesn't agree with the price...I fucking love the transfer windows.
Just as well I didn't study economics at university...I would have thought signing a 20 yr old who could be a major part of a team winning trophies for the next 10yrs or sold on for profit in 3 yrs (more realistic) wouldn't be bad business...but what the fuck do I know.
