Let's All Laugh At Man Utd! (Merged thread)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

"We showed the character. I said that to the players because I liked the attitude. The commitment is very high and that is the most important thing."

Needs to stop asking Wenger for press-handling advice

ITs not the result today that's the problem. OK, 2-1 against Bournemouth is never going to be great, but with a large part of our best side missing, it can be accepted. Its much deeper than the result today;

1. We've played a side that has one of the worst defences in the league and who are extremely open at the back, and we've managed to score 1 bundled goal, whilst creating little else.
2. The football was so poor.
3. There was no passion, leadership or effort.
4. We've got bossed by a side that have just came up from the Championship missing their three best players.
5. LVG just sits there, doing sweet FA.
6. Some absolutely ludicrous substitutions.
7. Pretty much every player was woeful.

This is all down to LVG. And that's not even considering our woeful performance in Europe or LVG's nonsense press conferences. He's got to go.

Thanks to the Red Cafe posters.
Swap LVG for AW, and welcome to my world.

I'm still laughing though.

Yes. There's something very familiar about the complaints about LVG... :rubchin:

I don't think we'll see Derek around here for a while

Poor guys. Just another 20 or so years until they reach our frustration levels.

Derek and his pals should "be careful what they wish for"......isn't that what they've preached to us for these past 8 years or so?

Perhaps it is because I lack a classical education, but from what I can tell ‘philosophy’ is a total pile of bollocks.

Just had a thought; what are the odds on LvG being given the boot and Maureen being installed at Old Toilet?
