WALCOTT - which position is best etc?

Wilson wrote:He could score more. But does anyone notice when he does score its against some pretty good opposition. Our two biggest wins this season against Man City and Leicester City - he scored our first goal in both.

Rather Theo score important goals, than score useless non-important goals like Raheem.
If he had scored against inferior opposition, as well, we would be well clear at the top of the league. We do not score enough goals, our goal difference is testament to that.

Just not ruthless enough for me. I thought he was getting there in 13-14 season his performances where his finishing was much improved - but got injured against scum in the cup.

Best as impact sub at the moment

I know that it won't ever happen, but can we please sell him now? I wish we'd have sold off the back of his 20 goal season. I still think that we'd make good coin for his departure. But, of course, Wenger probably won't replace him, probably choosing to promote within. Granted, at the moment, I'd rather see Iwobi than Walcott on the pitch. He is the real deal.

Last season was the time with Liverpool selling Sterling for 45m and idiot Rodgers in charge - they would have given us 25-30m without blinking.

Now his credit has dropped as low as it ever will and even if he is minded to leave nobody is going to pay a whacking great fee on top of the ludicrous wages they'd have to offer to tempt him away from his outrageously unjustified bumper deal.

Because he is English, he still has some value and someone will pay at least £20 million to take him. Figuring in his wages, it would be a massive + in the financial column for the Accountant in Chief. However, Wenger won't sell him. If he was ever going to be a world beater, it would have been long before now (and he'd likely have been sold  ).

He is really inherent of Wenger's staleness over the past decade. Too nice, not clever with his football play and looking like he is on the wane.

In yesterday's game he was put through and had a one v one chase with Curtis Davies that I reckon last year he would have won easily. Davies was able to keep stride for stride and win the ball which suggested to me that Wally has lost half a yard of pace which , let's face it, has been his only bit of X factor in 10 years.
Sell and get rid and take Ox at the same time. Iwobi was far more impressive and should get more game time .

Haha you devil. One of the few players with a worse injury record than Walcott. A genuine prick with delusions of grandeur too. That said he is a very good footballer when you can get him fit and on form.

Never mind Sturridge - instead of the 40 million plus 1 quid we bid for Suarez we should have offered them 40 million and Wally. Reckon they'd have gone for that and it would have gone down as the biggest bum holing in the history of the game.

A perma-crocked, arrogant, prick with delusions of grandeur that very rarely delivers on the pitch or an over-rated, often-injured sprinter that very rarely delivers on the pitch?

:rubchin:

Please why can't there be a third choice you evil bitch?

Could we have added El Capitano Stupido Flamoney to that deal? :rubchin:
