THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Wow we have a player on our books for four seasons, he spends three of them on loan, the fourth he stays and generally looks out of his depth.. Scores a good goa against Swansea, and plays well against the worst team imaginable in the Champions league. Now he is our saviour and Wenger is a genius. Simple isn't it.

549 days to go :D

I wish Gazidis would go over TOF's head again, as that seems to be the only way we'll sign anyone who isn't a 17 year old pubber from France or their colonies. Perhaps that explains why Wenger ruined Arshavin by playing him endlessly on the left wing (That was fucking criminal), and why he doesn't give a fuck about Welbeck being out for a year.

For every Vieira, Fabregas and Van Persie there were 5-10 Danilvicius', Mendez's and Sanogo's. He's randomly spunked a lot of money on shite these past 20 years and that's before he overpaid a ton of players from his failed dogmatic youth policy.

Even his British core is floundering, with Wilshere constantly crocked and being unprofessional, Gibbs not being in the first team (and also crocked half the time), Ramsey played out of position on the wing with zero discipline in his play, Jenkinson farmed out on loan again, and Chamberlain constantly making costly mistakes. I wish we had a proper coach who could deal with them properly and give them a bit of footballing intelligence and discipline for a change.

Same old bullshit from Wenger. I suppose he'll get a raise to £9M per year next time and break the £1000 per hour barrier, the charlatan fraudulent wanker, whilst bottling another league season :cussing:

Were the Invincibles really worth this subsequent decade of shite (and counting)?

Be honest.

It created a monster. No respect for tactics or defending. Obsession with ineffective over-passing. No direction given to the team.

Over £23K per day for this fraud :censored:

The most predictable injury ever. Wenger is his own worst enemy. And ours.

Held onto 4th place so all is well. On a different topic Henry should not be allowed in the studio when Arsenal play. He behaves like Wenger's son. What the hell does he think, that Wenger can fire him???

I've got a novel idea - lets blame our problems on injuries, refereeing injustices and, erm......the players. lets blame the players for having no tactical awareness, no drive or passion, and playing the same tippy tappy football. yes I know these have been our same problems since 2007, but I have a feeling it is a coincidence, it's not the way they are coached, or our philosophy, it is the players fault.

I'm just posting the average akb response tonight, to save some of the wums from their efforts. :barscarf:

Wouldn't it be sweet irony if this year, during which the financial shackles have come off, that we fail to qualify for the knockouts as well as dropping out of the top 4

For you Wengerites out there, would this be a sacking offense?

Just heard it...post match interview, "bit jaded physically, had to dig deep to get our game going (really???), we had a lot of possession in the 2nd half but lacked penetration and didn't look incisive" So WHY didn't you buy a STRIKER??? To be fair the man looks completely DONE!! But not to worry folks, he'll be back......

I think that he is earning his coaching badges under Wenger, so effectively, yes.
