IF WE PLAY TIGHT AND PHYSICAL WHILE STAYING CLOSE TO MESSI, HE'S NOT GOING TO BE NEARLY AS EFFECTIVE, so thats what we need to do to shut him down. Cristiano Ronaldo is the more complete player because he is much faster, a threat in the air, and has much more distance and power on his shots (not to mention he is better at free kicks), and i don't think we could have more problems with messi than ronaldo so thats good.
Mate, we have a rule on here that if you lift something from another place you say where and if possible post the link. Apparently Xavi is struggling as well.
Iniesta out is a huge boost for us, he's just as good as Fab (if not better imo) and is just sensational. I'ld back our midfield to do better against Yaya and Xavi, then Iniesta.
Song and Diaby are key in this game. They have to hustle and disrupt Barca, Chelsea proved last year that Barcelona are not untouchable, Messi was left isolated as the ball just didn't get to him.

Barcelona will wear their change kit of yellow shirts and blue shorts at Emirates Stadium on Wednesday.
Arsenal will wear their usual home kit of red shirts with white shorts for the Champions League Quarter-Final first leg.
However, Arsène Wenger's side will revert to a change kit of white shirts and grey shorts for the second leg in Barcelona next week.

Everyone at the Club is looking forward to Wednesday night’s UEFA Champions League match against Barcelona, which is one of the biggest matches ever to be played at Emirates Stadium.
In anticipation of this historic encounter, we urge all Arsenal supporters to arrive early at Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night, so that the stadium is completely full by kick-off and we can all get behind the lads from the first whistle.
We also ask that all supporters to wear red and white on the night. Please bring your red and white scarves, shirts and hats, and make as much noise as possible to support the team throughout this huge evening.
We want you – the supporters to create a fantastic atmosphere at the stadium on Wednesday night. Get behind the team, your loud support really does make a difference.
The stadium will be open from 6.30pm on Wednesday night, ahead of the 7.45pm kick off. So get to Emirates Stadium early to create a winning atmosphere in one of the biggest nights in Arsenal’s history.
Are we allowed to stand up as well?
