As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
For those saying give Kos more time, let me remind you Pascal Cygan played 63 times for Arsenal before Wenger finally acknowledged what everyone knew from appearance No.1 - that he was shit too.

Koscielny is shit and a coward as evidenced again today.

To be fair Cygan made his debut at PSV (I think) and played really well, the next game was at home to Sunderland he also put in a very solid performance. By the third and fourth appearance my enthuiasm had started to wane, by the fifth appearance when it was apparent he turned slower than an overseas luxury liner I realised.

This had me thinking, has Wenger ever signed a French CB who turned out to be a success for us? Cygan, Silvestre, Gallas, Grimandi, Squillaci, Koscielny... You'd think he'd learn by now.
Talk about peaking on your debut, Kos looked a world beater when he out sprinted a 10% fit Torres on his. That he got sent off, never mind, he'll adapt and won't be so clumsy next time.
Against Blackburn we started to see the light, even the official site mentioned: 'El-Hadji Diouf muscled past Laurent Koscielny on the left', they neglected to mention he got out paced too. By El-Hadji Diouf. Who's proper shit by the way. And slow.

He's looked out of his depth hasn't he, he should get in the gym and try to bulk a bit which might help him. I think he's quite talented personally, but always has a costly mistake or two in him.
God, why can't we just sign a solid, unspectacular, big ugly motherfucker of a center half?
Instead of getting Squillaci, would it have killed Wenger to buy Hangeland? He's just what we need and would have been perfect for us.
I have to say that right now my choices for the centre back partnership would be kos and djouru cos I think that squilachi is absolute shit I cannot for the life of me understand how squillachi seems to be able to hide in the background without criticism whilst kos is expected to win the headers and provide the pace to cover off at the back What exactly is it that squillachi brings to the team then ?

Maybe he posts on this forum as Louder...
)I'd just like to clarify that I have not abused Irish gooner previous to this thread , ergo he cast the first stone )
You are the hurler of abuse sir, not I, up to now. I know you've been on the shwally tonight but if you can't hack it, don't clack it. Now stop behaving like a silly little bitch. And please stop the '' everyone's shit apart from me'' posts, you're boring.

Cygan was a far better player than Koscielny will ever be.
