I am starting to wonder whether it is worth a punt on 0-0 tonight, probably the one result that no one expects.

The wife is out for the night, so it's just me and the dog, and that is normally a lucky combination for Euro Aways.

Straws / Clutching, etc.

Any news on RVP?? Nothing on Arsenal.com and a decision was supposed to have been made on his fitness this AM. They must be leaving it till the last possible minute for a fitness test.

18/1 on Bet365...

I'm staying in for this one. Need to focus on the game, and not A) Wake the kids up shouting because we've scored or B) Wake the kids up shouting because they've scored...

I think we'll qualify. And may even win the game. There I said it ! :barscarf:

Wow, don't think I've ever seen 18/1 for a goalless draw before.

It's 25/1 on Paddy Power.

Highly unlikely we will hear anything until the official team line ups are announced around 7pm

I'm going for Barca to win 2-1 @ 6/1 and The Arsenal to qualify on penalties @ 40/1

Interesting statistic, no team since the implementation of the 16 team KO stage has managed to knock Arsenal out of the CL and go on to win the tournament unless it was a final. They either got knocked out in the next round or lost in the final if it was a semi final game that they beat Arsenal.

In short if you go down Arsenal’s path in the CL KO Stage you are destined to lose. So goodbye Barca whatever the result

from bbc sport: "
ARSENAL
Arsenal coy on Van Persie injury
Arsenal will not reveal any news about Robin van Persie's fitness until they hand in their team sheet for Tuesday's Champions League last-16 second-leg meeting with Barcelona. "

Dont be surprised to see him play.

He'll play. Even with him on the bench it gives us a chane.

Slightly nervous now, wasn't in the run up as I saw this as something of a bonus match. I just hope the lads put in the hard work and make a good account of themselves.

I'm going into tonight thinking it was great to beat them once, and to get beat at the Nou Camp is no shameful thing.

Of course if we score early on, then go nuts with the Ole's etc like we're 10-nil up.
