Board Sells - Kroenke Takes Control Of Club!!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Worst thing now of course is every two bob club will perceive us having extra cash and thus the asking prices for anyone we may be interested in will double.

That's of course me being a mad bastard and believing for one second Wenger will actually try and sign some quality!! Ha ha ha the fucking bitter irony!!  :banghead:

So you really believe that the Yank won't end up borrowing the cash to pay for his takeover? Yet his last purchase of shares a few months ago was made on tick? However he gets the money it's a fact that the supporters of the club will end up paying for more substantial match ticket increases.

Obvious that the current owners have been looking to cash in on their shares once they fattened up the turkey. Custodians of The Arsenal LOL!
And Numpties lap up the propaganda coming from the club & their media stooges.

As for Mr Herd I suggest that you arrange a meeting with this chap who talks sense & not out of his rectum unlike some on here including yourself!

All mouth & no trousers??? Somehow I doubt you have the guts!!!
You are Herds alter ego and I claim my £5!!

Let me answer your questions simply as it's clear you'll not understand any long words........

So you really believe that the Yank won't end up borrowing the cash to pay for his takeover
I'm sure he will borrow money to buy the shares, but it won't be leveraged against the club. People do go to the bank to borrow money you know.

However he gets the money it's a fact that the supporters of the club will end up paying for more substantial match ticket increases.
Proof? Oh, you don't have any......that will be bullshit then?

Obvious that the current owners have been looking to cash in on their shares once they fattened up the turkey. Custodians of The Arsenal LOL!

I totally agree and haven't said otherwise. Several board members, as others have mentioned, are not 'Arsenal supporters' as such, they inherited their shares. Why is it a surprise they now want to sell at hugely inflated prices? Bit of a no brainer really. Fiszman wants to sell his shares as he has cancer and wants to get his finances sorted before he dies, can't blame him for that either!

As for Mr Herd I suggest that you arrange a meeting with this chap who talks sense & not out of his rectum unlike some on here including yourself!

How old are you?? 8 years old tops??
Fucking grow up you silly little boy. Bet your mum tied a steak to your arse when you were 5, just so the dog would play with you.
Internet hooligan alert!

Teecee when arguing over the increase in ticket prices that will come from this takeover why didnt you just point to the 6% increase that the current board are putting on us for next season ? Cant blame kroenke for that

We might have more money to throw around with Usmanov, but Wenger won't spend it anyway.
I'm sure he respects what Wenger has done in the past and would hope given more investment in playing staff he could do it again...
But there is no way he would put up with Wengers i know best attitude if he was winning nothing...
Usmanov wants to win things of that there is no doubt, i doubt very much he would let Wenger get in the way of that no matter how much in awe of him he says he is now...
I doubt Usmanov would be that involved in the day to day running of things. A more likely scenario would be that he would put in place a Chief Executive and have him and the board as his link to the club. So if the CEO and the board report back to him that the club is making profits each year and in a good financial standing whilst also operating near the top of the league then i can't see Usmanov making drastic measures.

But then again this is all guesswork on my behalf due to experience, so who knows what he would do if he ever actually did take over Arsenal.
I wasn't expecting him to be doing a 40 hour week down at the stadium...

But i would be very surprised if his only interest in the club was that they were operating near the top of the league and making a profit, that's what we do now and by all accounts he thinks we can do better..

I would be far more inclined to believe that he would have the same kind of interest in the club as Abramovich has in Chelski, to make the club successful. I doubt his idea of success means 2nd 3rd or 4th place in the league and i doubt his interest in the club is about turning a yearly profit ahead of a better chance of winning some silverware...
You need to do some research on usmanov, I dont think you'll be so keen for him to takeover afterwards.
Research :? Quoting a hatchet job that has been doing the rounds on the internet since Uzi began his interest in the club is not research it's quoting a hatchet job...
Nothing in the article quoted earlier in the thread is proven, it's all theory and opinion written with the intention of tainting Usmanov, and that is the only intention...Some of it may be true, all of it may be true, tbh i don't really care as it is all irrelevant to his ownership of a football club in this country where the rules are a little different to those of the wild west of the former russian states...

Almost all great fortunes are built on the misery and pain of others if you were desperate enough you could make anyone with a great fortune look like a tyrant they have all stamped on and shat on numerous people on their way up...In the environment he made his fortune in you'll find everyone who has made a great fortune in recent years has done so in pretty much the same way through some government and criminal backing...

Personally i look at Uzi for what he is now and that is a very wealthy man looking to become respectable and i can only see good things coming from his ownership of our club, all i see from the more likely incumbent (kroenke) is more of the same....

Agreed! And it's not only in those sort of environments! Even here in England people such as Denilson have amassed great wealth through impersonating a footballer! There are shady charactors about!
