Nowhere in that article does it say a fee has been agreed.Babu wrote:Mundo Deportivo have said that Fabregas is looking for a house in Barca, and that a fee has been agreed for 35m Euros, plus bonuses.
He's visiting the Barca campus today allegedly, and has decided that he won't speak there today.

Maybe this is a back up plan as the club are holding firm on the price.
Dilemma for barca...........on one hand they want cesc back as he is very much the one that got away but now if they allow tiago to go to us (or whoever) to fund the deal and create room for cesc then they risk being in the very same situation in a few years when tiago could be one of the worlds best

I cannot remember the last time that a club surprised everyone by paying UNDER market value for a player.... Silly money changing hands for Henderson, Torres, Carroll, Ronaldo, etc.
I know that Cesc wants to go, and that Barca consider him to be one of their own. But he is on a long contract and is yet to reach his peak as a player......
I don't blame Barca for starting with a low bid, but we shouldn't even be sitting down at the table until the offer reaches 45m (and I'm talking STERLING not fecking EURO!)!

More shyte about the cesc story. But to be fair Barce have been an absolute fucking disgrace throughout this entire saga.
They're dragging it out to suit their own twisted agenda instead of behaving like a respectful football institution.
Also, if I was Fabregas I'd be bloody pissed off that they say they want him so badly, but they cant afford him. Then they come out and meet the £40m release clauses of Neymar and Alexis Sanchez.
They obviously don't want him that much.
I think I'd say to Barce either bid £50m for him or he stays. None of this £35m shit. If Neymar and Sanchez are worth £40, Cesc is worth more.
If Barce come out and say no, then we'll come out and say he's not going anywhere and that's that.
Personally I'd rather we kept our morals and kept cesc than sold him for a penny less than he's worth, even if that means we have to let him go for free in four or five years time.
