London Riots

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

That fire in Croydon has Anarchists written all over it.

It's all pointing towards Army on streets and curefew. Those Champions League games would have to be played earlier in afternoon.

They just had the owner of the shop on the phone on Sky News, sounded like he was in tears and said "Good bye sky news......." Heart breaking stuff.
Absolutely terrible.

Honestly something has to change in the UK. This is a result of political correctness and human rights gone mad.

Sure people have rights, but these scumbags have forgone any rights and need to be punished.
Mate in what way does this have anything to do with political correctness and human rights? :?
Everything. Political correctness and human rights is the reason these youths think they can get away with murder because they know for a fact that the police cant touch them.

Officers are standing there while some little *word censored* comes into their face and shouts and swears and throws bricks and bits of wood and the copper can't do fuck all because he'll be the one who gets done for it.

They can't touch these little yobbos because they have "rights". Well I'm sorry but they forgo their rights the minute they abuse someone elses.

In the same way, "human rights" means people cant protect their property. If this was the states, half these fucking scumbags would have been blown away by now and good riddance to them. Over here, if one of them was shot you'd go down for murder.

It's fucking ridiculous.

Bollocks to that! No music. No alcohol. No scantily clad ladies.

But I'd be quite happy to see thieves having their fucking hands chopped off. 8)

I can see this going on for a few days yet. The police will have to flood the area for the next few days to stop it repeating. I don't think the main culprits will be arrested until a good couple of weeks have passed :banghead:

These are the same mindless thugs who would burn down a building regardless of who was in it. The same mindless thugs who rob people in the street. The same mindless thugs who think its accaptable to smash cars and shops. What planet are you on where you think its accaptable to allow this to happen. its clear the current tatics are not enough so more robust action is needed. I'm sure you would be saying all this if they destoryed your business your home and anything else you owned.

Agree with this.

The main page has a thread about rugby FFS!

This is far more important.

Everything. Political correctness and human rights is the reason these youths think they can get away with murder because they know for a fact that the police cant touch them.

Officers are standing there while some little c**t comes into their face and shouts and swears and throws bricks and bits of wood and the copper can't do fuck all because he'll be the one who gets done for it.

Do you know the actual meaning of 'political correctness'? If you did you'd see you're using it in the wrong context in regards to these riots.

Secondly, it's not 'human rights' preventing the police from hitting yobs that are getting mouthy. It's sheer numbers and being outnumbered that leads to the fact that the police can't break their lines by trying to attack them.

I saw first hand police storming into people with police dogs yesterday so they can hardly be accused of 'being scared to do anything'.

If you knew the law you'd know just how much the police are allowed to do. It all comes down to the fact that for every police officer there's 10 rioters so it's a question of practicality not human rights that they aren't going all out.
