As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Zzzzz you bore me. Didn't you claim last week I ONLY came on here after defeats? Well today is a draw Nostradamus, so perhaps stick to your claims that Gervinho would be a quality signing LOL...
Arsenal on the pitch today had at the same time:
Chamakh, Diaby, Gervinho, Ramsey, Santos.
And behind them, they had Alex Song trying his pathetic, predictable 'chip pass' nonsense. Incredible.
If this club had a scouting department, they'd note that the Chavs just signed a number 10 for next season, at the princely cost of £6.5 million. That's right, the Chavs signed in Marin an excellent playmaker, at just over half what that useless piece of shit Gervinho cost.
Carry on singing Arsene's praises though, and don't forget to renew....
Remember, Javi Martinez, M'Villa, Podolski, Goetze and Higuain are all signing for us...ha ha ha
Marko Marin?
He's average, why buy more average players. Don't you think if he was any good, he wouldn't have been sold for 10m.
I've seen him play, and he looked like a poor nasri.
I can't wait to
a. Remind you of this quote
b. 'Why buy more average players' you claim. This is from the same group of 'fans' championing garbage like Rosicky, Mertesacker and Song. Amazing, couldn't invent the irony.
c. How much German football do you watch? Seriously?
d. Interesting that you note that players who cost under 10 mil must be shite. I tend to agree in parts. Therefore, as soon as you could subsequently explain to me why Mertesacker, Santos, Benayoun (loan ffs), Song, Ramsey, and virtually the entire Arsenal squad cost under £10 mil...I would be curious to hear your volte-face.
Because your suggestion is hence that 3 quarters of the Arsenal squad is cheap rubbish. Correct? Or will the criteria change to squirm your way out of the obvious flaw in what you said?

You're looking at the bigger picture though, whereas I'm saying it's a decent point in the context of crawling over the line to finish 3rd with a poor team. That's all.
Our team is so average, it's frightening. So, considering we were average, have a poor team, and often lose at Stoke, I thought a point wasn't the end of the world. Especially given Newcastle's defeat.
Obviously, we should be expecting more considering our financial resources; but that's something for the summer. For now, we're stuck with this average squad and it's up to them to secure 3rd, then hopefully the squad can be overhauled.

Haven't you heard Demun though what the Arsenal fans are saying already?
'Marin is average'
'Why buy more average players'
Uh huh. I'm just waiting to hear someone claim 'we could not compete with Chelski' LOL.
£6.5 mil he cost. That's it. His wage apparently will be £40k a week. Less than crock of crap Diaby then, less than Chamakh, about 40% of Gervinho's and less than Denilson!
Oh but we might sign Olivier Giroud from Montpellier this summer. (to be our new Chamakh)
Like I said. I'll have this convo about Marin again with the comedians who slated him...you couldn't make this up. The same people championing Rosicky and pleading for 'time' for £11.5 mil Gervinho, are slating Marin. Hilarious. Only at AWFC....

Dunno what 'overhauling' you're speaking of G88ner? The overhaul has already begun: new contracts for Djourou and Rosicky, Song in negotiations for a bumper extension to £75k a week ( ); and Olivier Giroud, the 'Stephane Guivarch of Montpellier' in advanced talks to sign for Arsenal.
With the returning Denilson, Diaby and Wilshere being 'new signings', and what missing 'big players' like Mertesacker (lump of shite) and Santos (big player! Krispy kremes all round!)....
The team showed more balls at Stoke than they usually do and I thought the whole back line and Chesney did well. Rosicky was top man again today though
Sorry when I said the team showed more balls......I mean 10 players showed balls and one oversized forehead useless fucking bottle job showed himself up to be a Championship standard player once more. Missed the chance of the game with the free header when it was 1-1 and we had Stoke on the back foot.
Wenger was singing the guy's praises after the first few weeks of the season saying he'd saved us from the 'dizzyimg prices' in the Summer window. Fuck me, Lille must be laughing all the way to the bank with the €11m they robbed us of for the useless fucker. No ability, no heart, no goalscoring threat......no hoper
Just leaving ground now. As you know I'm not a rose-tinter,first half Arsenal should of been 3-1 up,played well, final passes not there sometimes. 2nd half, thought we shaded it,pen? Ref was there's,if it was, should of give it. Enjoyed it,good game I thought. Filled your end,as always. Arsenal fans.....he cries when he wants......stoke fans.....lets all do the Wenger.....very funny!! Results gone for you too,on M6 going home now, enjoyed the day.

Waiting....
What are you talking about Babatunde.
If we have average players, why buy more unless you want us to remain in this position?
I'm not a scout babatunde , do you think i've got time to sit there and watch endless football watching players so I can argue about who to sign on football forums. I see a player and i make a judgement, i'm usually right. I saw Joey Barton and I saw he was sh1t. Marin all I saw was an average 5'7" midget tottenham style player. We need better players than that otherwise we'll have to make do with more 3rd place finishes.
Also chill out, I think you take things waaaaay to seriously
I heard Bale wants CL football and is considering moving, why not buy him?

Win both our games it's ok
As said on Norwich match thread I don't think we will need anything at west Brom......
Quote that!
When is Goetze signing again?
Cos you sure as shit sent me to sleep with that one....
C'mon baba don't be like that.....you are boring in fact very boring, but all I said was you were boring no need to get all aggressive with me young man...now....this bores me

I don't even know why you bother....
Look, I agree that things are a mess at Arsenal and I'm not overly confident the overhaul will happen as such, but for now, I've compartmentalised it and tucked it in a draw until after the West Brom game.
For now, I'm ONLY concentrating on what is required to finish 3rd. And like it or not, it's in our hands mate with 2 games to play, and a point at Stoke has helped us get closer to that.
So for me, everything else about wages, signings, Wenger going, etc. etc. can wait until after West Brom.

Here here! You going to Hawthorns Robin?
Can't unfortunately. Sadly, that's me done until next season
