I think Podolski done quite well today. Made a lot of runs and got stuck in, give him time and he will be lethal. Why is it, everytime Sunderland come to the Emirates, Mignolet has a fucking blinder!

At this stage, offloading song, feo, diaby and the forehead will be only potential highlights
I had high hopes for theo
surprised to see Gervinho criticised - thought that performance represented massive progress

Best of luck trying to shift those 123 quid tickets for the category A games Ivan.
£1.23p is too much to pay to watch that shower of shite pass it sideways across the midfield at walking pace all day.
70% possession, 3 shots on target
The only scoreless game in the league today. 123 quid??
Still look on the bright side, the next time we play the mackems at home in the league it will be the last time we will do so while being managed by a Turnip.
Roll on 2014

The good news is that as the game went on, Wenger pulled out some masterful tactical changes to break down their defence and he got us to pass the ball about a hundred times before losing possession around the box.
Wenger = Clueless

Wenger = Clueless

Hate to be picky but there were no 123 quid seats today, the cat c games today I imagine would've been the most competitive in the whole league.
25 quid in the lower tier to see Arshavin waddle about is a fucking bargain

thats what you took from that post - I criticise subs/formation/individual players anmd mention something I call a small detail - you isolate half of that small detail and take it as an excuse????armchair supporter wrote:Fuckin ball boys - its all their fault.

A poster on here (1989) thinks Arsenal will challenge for the league!!!
70% possession, no penetration.
A bunch of jokers called Giroud a "quality signing" even though they'd never seen him kick a ball in French football.
Perhaps they were overwhelmed by his 3 minutes of action at the Euros. LOL
Arsenal are a joke under Wenger. This incompetent corporate egotist has weakened the team again, meaning that for the 8th/9th year in succession; Arsenal will win nothing and continue to be a standing joke.
Oh and as for Giroud? Take your choice between the new Guivarch, or the new Gignac.
There's a reason he hadn't even got any Europa League experience!
Hope you rich people with more money than an iota of brains enjoy lining Arsene and Stan's pockets because you're getting the team your submissiveness deserves.
Oh well at least we got rid of RVP eh? We'll "score more goals as a team" (so long as it isn't against Sunderland, and at home ha ha)

Re: Arsenal v Sunderland match thread
Well what a disappointing display of football from the Gunners. We had every chance to win the game, missing various sitters throughout the duration of the match.
I must say that listening to the match on the Arsenal Player made for interesting commentary, invariably putting every miss down to it being 'unlucky', not forgetting the statement that we should have no problem challenging for a top 4 place. It’s nice to know that the people paid by Arsenal don't even have much faith in the team doing more than getting that lucrative 3rd/4th placed trophy and if this performance is anything to go by (we should be beating Sunderland at home every day of the week) I don’t blame them.
With a less than impressive 3 shots on target and 19 off I can’t help but feel that even with our new signings we may still be missing a talisman up front, may be RVP could have buried those chances or even created a few more, but it’s not worth thinking about the what if's any more, he's gone and that’s that.
With 57 crosses to Sunderland’s 14, are we still holding on to the fact that beautiful football is a display of how many times you can give the ball to a team mate and keep possession, 62%, rather than remembering what the whole point of the game is, to score goals and win trophies.
I am not going to go into individual performances, I wouldn't like to be thought of as someone trying to teach you how to suck eggs, we all know who did well and who didn’t, though I feel I must question the managers decision to keep Diaby on the pitch for longer than 15 minutes as he offered absolutely nothing to the game, but then again that could also be said of a few more of the boys in red.
Overall I am disappointed but not surprised by the lacklustre display from our boys, the dressing room must feel a bit stale following the revelations of the past few days, and with Walcott not signing a new contract either there is surely a feeling of who's next.
If our manager is to do anything rather than looking like a deranged goat on the side-lines as usual this season, he needs to once again unite our boys (as he did following the loss of Cesc Fiberglass), it is simply not enough to get a champions league spot this year, we must get trophies, but based on today’s performance I don't see that happening.
