Agreed. I am just amazed we got a clear run at signing this lad and for an initial 12m too. In fairness to the club it could prove to be one of the most amazing transfers in our history. The guy is genuine top quality

Many may not share my opinion but I thought Arteta had a pretty poor game today, according to his standards. I won't be too much on his back since he's been nothing but outstanding since the begining of the season. But today he was a bit below. Quite a few misplaced passes, sometimes caught out of position. Doesn't really sound like him. I guess it was a one off. Diaby as well. At some moment I thought he was reverting to his old self when he started turning on himself too much, staying on the ball for too long, and in the end getting caught in dangerous positions. (I even think one of his lost ball almost ended up in a goal for Shitty in the second half) Gervinho.... Well... All has been said already. Eboué never left. He just put a wig on.

Other than that, a very positive performance. We deserved at least a draw. We dominated the champions in their own ground. Like many, I'm quite impressed by the last few performances of Jenkinson. The exact same could be said about Gibbs. Santi is just pure class. Ramsey impressed me for the first time since he's at Arsenal. Poldi I'm afraid needs some rest. He's had quite a few games recently, and even though he's really talented and hard working, you can see he's been fading away in second halfes for the past two games now.

Good result overall. Not many teams will get a result there.

Thought Jenko was superb - gave his all and looks like he is improving week by week

Ramsey really stepped up

Gibbs took on responsibility played really well

Mert!? - he read the game Beautifully today...was Su- fucking - perb! MOTM for me, just as
Kos (1st game back too!) was excellent - and WHAT A FUCKING GOAL!!!! :barscarf:

Mannone cost us the goal - but saved superbly from overhead - we still need another quality to challenge shez

Santi - an Artist on the ball & Pitch :cheekkiss: just love him!

I really don't think it's any coincidence that Bouldy is the new assistant - we can now defend - well we need a goalie yes, but the lads did good!

klingon bonce - can beat players yes, but cannot finish when the heat is on - and tries to beat too many

Diaby - not awful, butnot as good as he was against the scousescum.

ARSENAL! :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

he kept it simple when he needed to and ran forward with the ball into spaces and kept going right through the middle. there was no fancy stuff today, and he put a shift in.

i'd still rather ox or coq were there, but he did well for him. i didn't feel like the team carried him today.

forehead needs to learn to "hit it" , his finishing is dropping back to walcott's level. :banghead:

Fair enough. I guess he didn't try any back heels :barscarf:

we went to the champions and were the better team and with a bit of luck and better finishing would have beat them, but also rode our luck a few times , overall its a good point to get and thought it a well deserved point. well played the arsenal :barscarf:

Nice to see us picking up results like this whilst that greedy little fuckwit Walcott is sitting on the bench too. Why the fuck was he brought on when the Ox - a player that actually wants to play for the club - was left on the bench. And typical Walcott he came on and contributed sweet FA, other than running into blind alleys and giving the fucking ball away. I detest the sight of the bloke now and just hope that he is left to rot in the reserves or is stuck on the bench dreaming about earning 100k a week at Liverpool

SteveO imagine how much juicy profits we can make on his when we end up selling him to Citeh/Chelski/Manure!!!
Rub your hands in glee! We can get £35 mil for him I reckon easy, maybe close to £38mil?
:rubchin:

He's quality. I'll give it summer of 2014 before he moves on.
We've got a ready made replacement in Denilson besides...

I guess we are all that impressed by Ramsey today because we all know what are his standards...

Frenchgun - i agree. i think he's either tired or the pace of the game was just too quick for him and the game passed him by.

did anyone else see that shot of the ref bent double to catch his breath after one of our counter attacks ? 8)

i haven't seen us break that quick with three passes from our box since we had Anelka and Over Overmars up front.

Baba - you actually think that we'll manage to get 35m for him mate ? Remember we are the club that sold TH14 for the same price as Darren Bent despite him just having signed a 4 year deal, allowed ourselves to get less for Fabregas who still had 2 years left on his deal than the Spuds got for Modric, and allowed our one-man-team captain escape to our once upon a time rivals for 22m despite being one of the best strikers in Europe and having scored 30 goals in the PL.

If ever a club could contrive to get 20m for Cazorla it would be us !

But I agree with your point !

ok result I suppose.

Mannone kept us in it at the end. It's amazing the difference a decent goalkeeper makes.

Gervinho looked like he was trying to play rugby out there towards the end.
About time Walcott was given the chance up front.

so as things stand we are 1 point worse off than last season in the corresponding fixtures played but that is to be expected considering we sold our best player in the summer.
Big win for Spurs today - they will be far more of a threat in the top 4 trophy this season I think.

Quality stuff mate :D

That's top drawer comedy gold :barscarf:

Yep, if we ignore the one corner that our defenders didn't win and was the sole thing Mannone had to do in the first half......then yeah he was brilliant !
